                 He had just turned his back to man the cooking pot, only to find that the wonderful wonderful Prime Meat he was about to use in his stew had suddenly gone missing……!

                   Wha? Where could it have gone??? Did Koroks steal his prized meat? No… that can’t be. Koroks don’t eat meat. Unless… Link senses the air until he hears the soft movement of someone trying to sneak off. He should know. He’s tried to be sneaky before. Without hesitation he draws his bow and arrow and points to the direction of the movement behind some bushes.

                  ► “Drop ‘em.”

Castle Town is one of the few places where you’ll never really catch a Goron walking around, unless they were Daruk. Like the other Champions he was called to report to the castle because Princess Zelda had something important to tell to all of them. Since Daruk still hasn’t figured out the ropes to this place, he gets lost even after he was given a grand tour of the place. He didn’t want to ask for directions on the count of everyone being so busy in this part of Hyrule. He managed to stumble on the training grounds for the royal guard, seeing them use smaller weapons than Daruk has ever used. He was able to spot the little guy beating the others who challenged him.

“Hey! Little guy”, the Goron shouted signaling for the Hylian to come his way.

“So, how’s life in the castle?”

Clang!!

                 Another sword flew out of a foot soldier’s hand, clattering haphazardly onto the dusty training ground. A small crowd had gathered to watch the small sparring match between a few of the Royal Guard against the newly knighted Hyrule Champion. Courtiers, servants and off-duty guards loitered about, placing their bets in hushed voices.

                 After thwarting yet another charge from his opponent, Link notices the towering Goron waving at him from the sidelines.

                  --Link shily waves back... He sheathes the Master Sword and leaves the makeshift arena with his fallen opponents in his wake. The crowd parts to accommodate Daruk’s size as Link jogs over to join his fellow Champion. (There were scattered boos in the crowd, wanting to see more of the match Link had just abandoned. This was dutifully ignored.)

                  A shrug and a smile was Daruk’s answer.

                  ► “The Princess has been expecting you.” Link tells him, quietly. “I’m sure she’ll be glad to know you could make it. Come. Follow me.”

if there’s one person that beedle can count on, it’s link. half the time, the boy will deplete all of his stocks! not to mention that he happens upon some rare items that beedle would be best not to question, just buy. so when he sees that familiar shock of yellow hair, he hikes the straps of his bag into a more secure location on his shoulders, straightens his back, and gives him a blinding smile.

                  “Hoy, Link! I’ve stocked up on special items, just for you!”

then again, link could probably have these items easily on his own… but what can he say? catching bugs is fun.

                Who else could he have ran into in the Akkala Region other than Beedle himself! By now, Link shouldn’t even been surprised. But sometimes Beedle’s presence defies all odds. Handn’t he just seen him at Wetland Stables...? That must’ve taken the merchant weeks on foot while carrying his large and heavy beetle shaped pack. And Link just got here through the Sheika Slate! Either way, Link doesn’t dwell much on it and meets the merchant, half way through a jog, with a soft smile.

                  ► “Look what I got!”                   Link exclaims before Beedle could tempt him with any of his wears. He’s got tons of gems in his inventory since coming from Goron City. Link sets down his own pack and lets the large rocky gems fall right at Beedle’s feet.

He had been used to the heat and the sun–he had wandered the length of the Palamecian desert alone. He was dressed for it. But here…somehow here it felt more intense, more brutal. This world was full of life–true life. It pulsed with the kind of life that only nature can provide and the ruins of the cities and settlements spoke of a place that was reclaiming itself from the world of Man. Perhaps that was why the sun was so intense and the desert dunes so brutal and…

He thudded to the ground. He hadn’t seen where he was going and the gods only knew how long he had been wandering aimlessly and lost; it was only by fortune he hadn’t been eaten or set upon by bandits. His clothing protected him from the brutality of the sun but it would do nothing for a body starved of water–which was why the touch of coolness on parched lips brought a reaction and made him drink even in his heat-addled stupor. Ah yes and then the coughing when the brain couldn’t function enough to say ‘Please take this to the stomach and not the lungs’. A gasping start awake and a flail sent him into the oasis and floundering in the shallows…he was VERY conscious now.

Drenched in water and robes covered in silt, he finally got his bearings enough to see the one that had saved him. He blinked, surprised at another life and–a veiled face. It’s delicate features were hidden behind a veil and the wrap around the middle suggested a young maiden…He squinted a moment. No…

“Thank you–was it you who rescued me?”

Not a woman. He could see it in the anatomy. The set of the shoulders and the way they stood bespoke a more masculine build–there was no fooling a healer’s eyes.

               Link lets the water trickle down the stranger’s mouth, his other hand cradling the back of their head to guide them. They must have realized how dehydrated they were, Link thought as he lets the man drink his fill. Startled by the coughing fit, he retracts his waterskin flask immediately, spraying some if its contents upon the stranger’s white robes. The man coughs gently, spluttering and groaning. At the very least, he’s alive and still breathing. Then, Link finds himself under that man’s serene blue gaze.

               ‘Rescue’ might have been an overstatement. Link was only kind enough to offer them water. Never the less, the hero’s only response was an eager nod. Wordlessly he points to the larger pool of the oasis where Link helps the man to get closer to the edge so they could have their proper drink. He squeezes the man’s forearm, an anchoring action, a gesture that says ‘come with me’ as Link leads him to the pool.

               ► “Where have you come?” Link asked curiously, “Did you get here on foot?”

               The sun is setting and the desert nights are cold. They need to find some sort of refuge. Link frowns softly, looking around for any sort of shelter. Perhaps they could reach Gerudo town to ask for help.

This took me much longer than expected, but I did it, I DID IT! They don’t sound like in the games, of course, and not all of them fit each Link, but they’re from the original seiyuu, so it’s enough to have an idea of how they’d sound? idk haha

Each “TP start” sound separates one Link from the other. In order, we have:

You must forgive me for not getting back to replying asap. I’m extremely slow and always busy with work. Though I’ve noticed many of you have approached me asking where my rules/about page is. 

Thing is, I’m pretty lax about rules and I don’t require anyone to abide by anything. I want RPing to be fun and and stress free. Hence the lack of it (for the time being). It’s like Breath of The Wild, there are no set rules other than the ones you set for yourself. I’m giving you all a proverbial stick and run wild with it. 

But I have noticed there are frequently asked questions from new followers so I’ll probably get around to making that first.

So... yeah, I guess what I’m trying to say is... I’m gunna put everything on hold and work on some things for this blog (and @b0zai ‘s).

But that doesn’t mean I can’t send anyone things in their asks. :D
