i know it’s been awhile, everything just sucks. last month i lost cal, my cat, and yesterday i lost his brother felix. i still have patch, but it just fucking sucks. -cowboy anon

im so, so sorry for your loss. i know how much it hurts and how painful it is losing a pet. I lost my dog a year ago and it hurt for so long. im sending you lots of love and strength your way. sometimes that gets me through the pain is knowing that they lived a good life

a quick guide to tagging content and trigger warnings

i have seen a lot of terrible tagging on my dash lately and its time to fix that up. please listen to me

WORST: 

“#tw” or “#trigger warning” by itself in a separate tag. there are a wide variety of triggers and putting them all under a big umbrella will either block out a lot of content that would be fine for the blacklister to view, or it just wouldn’t be caught under their tumblr savior because they dont WANT to blacklist such a broad tag. basically just… dont do this

BAD: 

“#tw: (trigger)”, “#tw (trigger)”, “#trigger warning (trigger)” etc (anything with tw in front). there are a lot of varieties of this and that’s the issue. it’s hard and tedious and stressful for the blacklister to find every variety used by the people they follow just so they dont have to see one thing. a lot of people only blacklist tags of things (e.g. “#[trigger]” WITH the hashtag) so that tumblr savior won’t block out every single mention of the word. 

GOOD: 

”#(trigger) tw", “#(trigger) content”, or just simply “#(trigger)” will allow the blacklister to simply block the trigger word itself OR the trigger word with the hashtag. both will be caught and will be equally effective for whatever purposes the blacklister desires

i’ve been so busy with school and them the freaking hurricane that hit ugh man. also i’m okay and so is my house. no power for 2 weeks, but we got generators. i did talk with my therapist and she helped and is helping me a lot. just ugh 2020 man - cowboy anon

i heard about that hurricane-- they scared me so bad ;-; but im glad u guys r ok !! that sucks about your power but yay for generators!! 2020 is hands down my worst year and everyone’s worst year tbh ... it’s truly been a MESS

i didn’t get answer yet since i had a meeting with my physiatrist and i felt sick so i wanted it over quickly, then my therapist is on vacation so i have to wait. i’m at the lake and it was fun, but i missed part of my face with sunscreen and my sunburn is weird. also my stepsis baby daddy dropped his keys in the lake and had to dive in to find them(he did), i was like aha that’s what you get racist. -cowboy anon

it went well,had to ask for her phone to talk to my dad since it was father's day and needed to make plans with him before he left to see my brother graduate.i decided not to go since it was a road trip and i hate road trips especially when i'll be in the same car for hours with stepwitch.i'm in a good mood,tomorrow i'm planning to make an appointment with my therapist to tell her about my concerns of having dissociative identity disorder,hope it goes well and i get some answers. -cowboy anon

yayyy im glad it went down well !!! and ah yeah road trips are hard nowadays because most places dont have their bathrooms open (for good and obvious reasons)! so it’s good u opted out :) but lol yeah roadtripping with ppl that annoys u is NO FUN , it’s only fun with ppl u like or else being in a car with the same individuals is just pure torture ;-;

true, but i have anger issues and it got built up and that ended up happening. i do have some people on my side that makes me feel better and at ease. i have also backed away from it and calmed down a lot since then. i have not told my mom and she has not said anything, but i have no clue if she noticed. so afkssk we'll see. -cowboy anon

ah i mean u didnt mean for it plus, being angry and upset at racists and uneducated people in general is a very valid reason to get angry. im happy u have ppl on ur side that make u feel better too :) sometimes, it’s just better to focus on the ppl who support you than are against you, ofc thats easier said than done. hmm well i hope it all goes well when she finds out, cuz it’s a bit hard to hide dklsgjdfg but im sure everything will be ok ! :)
