HAPPY FIRST DAY OF APRIL

solo and ensemble festival is a week from today and I am TOTALLY prepared for my solo (I’m not I’m rlly not)

on the bright side tho I got another honor band coming up and me personally I think imma kick ass at this audition

band trip

WHOO that was a time

our band director was gonna wear the light up scrunchies but he forgot them so we had to make up for it by finding something within the first night of the trip for him to wear the next couple of days. We found something worthy. While the scrunchies we came across didn’t light up, they had a long ribbon. He wore them both days, as he should 💪💪💪

I rode a bunch of crazy rides… I love roller coasters but the WAIT TIME on some of them is crazy. Like I love rides, but you’re crazy if you think imma spend anymore than an hour and a half waiting for a ride. But I DEFINITELY got my steps in

overall, it was a rlly fun trip. I love band and it’s always great when we get to go on trips together like this. The hotel could have been better and so could have other things, but it was still a priceless experience

also, me and my friend wore matching shirts for the first two days (Friday and Saturday) of the trip and that was really fun too lmao

I also started a petition for him to wear the light up scrunchies I got him for Christmas on this trip and let’s just say… he’s doing it

I goofed up a little bit during our performance and I think our tuba player got too excited during the sight reading portion and blared an ending note a little too loud but hey, it works

our community band concert was last week… sorry for no update. It went great, a lot of people said we did really good. I also got a piggyback ride lmao
