Sorry y'all but I realized I had to actually make a post about this (finding the time was hard but the ask I got yesterday reminded me to do it, so doing this on my break LOL).

Unfortunately I've been way too busy at work to be creative with much else. One of the drawbacks of a creative job I guess haha (Not that I'm regretting my choice of work, I absolutely LOVE my job, I just don't have the free time or energy I used to for other stuff).

This won't mean I won't post at all EVER, but it will definitely be more sporadic, so I figured I'd just make a pinned post explaining my absence properly/making sure everyone was aware I'm on a HIATUS rn.

And sorry for all those people who sent me those ask requests, I really did try to use those for my warmups but I just didn't end up having the time 😭😭😭 so unfortunately I'm making this post to say the request thing is closed until further notice.

Eh, I'm pretty neutral, I'm not the biggest fan of Heather in general but it's not like I don't see the appeal, so I'm neither for nor against the ship.

I've always had two different ideas for how his frost-blushing looks, one is more of a simple coating of glittering ice, the other is like, where the frost kinda gets fuzzy or spiky all over his face LOL

y'all have GREAT ideas!!! Just wanted to give y'all a heads up I'm gonna be busy these next few days helping my sister with her baby shower and all, but when tuesday rolls around I'll pick and choose from the requests!! :D

OKAY SO LOVED THIS IDEA and I sketched out a couple things this morning and then got carried away and drew a comic - and then went back to it later after work to clean it up. Thank you @dmoondream

The idea I went with was: Jack's from fairy tale land and when he ends up in the real world, he can't control the winds as well and ends up crashing onto Hiccup's college campus :)

Opening up Hijack requests/prompts again!

Now this is NOT a guarantee that I'll draw your prompt, this is just me trying to find an excuse to draw Hijack for my warmups in the morning before I work because I think, other than gestures which are good for warmups, I need to draw things that are more specific with story/character n expressions. Also i wanna draw Hijack again, I miss them....

yes, but the stuff I'm doing (that I can't talk about unfortunately due to NDA) isn't really character based/story specific stuff so I'd like to be able to continue stretching those acting muscles.

and plus. I JUST WANNA DRAW HIJACK AGAIN.

(also this is not completely limited to only Jack and Hiccup, other httyd and ROTG characters are also fully acceptable :> )
