Julia was far too concentrated on the small screen to notice anything and everything that was going on around her. She couldn't be bothered to take her eyes off of her cell phone for even a second. As she tilted the device, the blonde jumped slightly at the tap she felt on her lower back. "Look what you did! I was beating my high score! Do you know how hard I worked for that?!" She said with a giggle as she showed her phone off, sliding it in one of her pockets afterwards before taking Maddie's hand to help her up. Once she was standing, Julia pulled the surfer into a kiss and intertwined their fingers before she laughed yet again at the other's comment. "Oh hey, don't even mention it! I love dressing up for you too." She shook her head before continuing. "They're nice sweat pants though, I got them from Victoria's Secret, doesn't that count for something?" She added as she tugged on her pants to show off the writing on the side of them. "What about my hair? You always comment on my hair!"

Leading the way down the many steps, Julia had no intention on letting go of Maddie's hand. That's what couples do anyway when they go for walks, right? And to her, they were a steady unofficial couple. She wasn't too sure where exactly they were going, but she didn't care. Julia knew the surrounding area well enough. She also knew there was a park near by, and she planned on stopping there for a while as well. It was a gorgeous night, not too cold, nor was it too hot. Just perfect. And the fresh air, well it was refreshing. She was in no rush to get back to her room. Besides, the more time she got to spend with Maddie the better. Everything was better with Maddie around, actually. "Did you want to get the coffee I'm paying for before we go to the park? Or after?" She asked before turning to look at the girl next to her, a smile plastered on her face.

Romantic Walks And Stuff || Julia & Maddie

Maddie was excited to be spending more of her time with Julia. When she had promised the girl that things wouldn’t change from when they were in Florida, all their time just idly spent together, she hoped it couldn’t be true even though there was a likelihood that it wouldn’t be. She had tried her best to keep Julia at the forefront of everything she did but even at that school managed to get in way every now then. The surfer had promised her parents that she’d concentrate on her studies rather than any more galavanting, no matter how nice they thought Julia seemed. They wanted her to do well and that meant keeping up with her work and staying in school rather than jet setting around the world whenever the opportunity arose. 

That however was a very hard task. An almost impossible feat whenever Julia’s little advances were posed in her direction. There was something about the girls asking and her way that lead Maddie to believe that no simply wasn’t an option anymore. She wanted to spend all of her time with the blonde, every waking moment, and she knew Julia would afford her that so whenever a possible hangout or sleepover was on the cards it was a must. The taller girl had never really felt that need with anyone else, the need to be around them or even just in their general company even if there were other people around. It was quite and quite amazing at the same time and she didn’t question it all that much, she just went with her gut instinct and allowed things to be as they were. 

Maddie had just been lazing about in her room until Julia suggested a walk, she needed the fresh air and there was no way she was saying no so after they agreed to meet she hopped up out of bed and put her laptop to one side. The blonde attempted to rifle through her things but gave up half way through, knowing she was already running late. She settled on jeans and her converse paired with a top she had managed to find at the beginning of her search. Maddie through on a coat as she headed out the door, wanting to wrap up a little, not knowing how long their walk was intended to be. She checked the time on her phone and scrunched her nose a little, walking a little faster because of it. Once she finally made it outside she saw Julia already on the steps waiting for her, completely enthralled by her phone. The surfer walked up behind her and nudged her with her foot gently, noticing the girls attire with a little grin. “I do love it when you dress up for me.” She laughed a little, offering her hand to help the girl up.

Romantic Walks And Stuff || Julia & Maddie

Since the day they had gotten back from Florida, Julia hadn't spent nearly as much time with Maddie as she would have liked to. Partially because she had a lot of school work to catch up on, but mainly because she was busy procrastinating, as usual. She did get to spend Thanksgiving with her, though, and she was grateful for that. If it was up to her, she probably never would have came back to Southbrook. She loved Florida. And she had gotten so used to seeing Maddie 24/7 during their little vacation. It was surprisingly hard to not wake up next to the surfer every day, she missed their late night cuddles. Maddie was on her mind constantly and although she wasn't exactly sure where they stood, she was determined to make her officially hers sometime soon. 

Julia was suffocating in her room, it was way too hot in there, and there was no way she was staying in. She needed some fresh air anyway after spending the whole day hiding behind that computer screen of hers. She wanted to go for a walk, and luckily for her, so did Maddie. Julia would have eventually convinced her even if she didn't want to, anyway. After a small yet disturbing conversation, they both agreed to meet outside in 10 minutes, which didn't leave Julia much time to get ready.

Jumping out of her bed, the blonde pulled her hair up and into a messy bun before walking over to her mirror. She was wearing sweats and a t-shirt that was no doubt two sizes too big for her, but she just shrugged. She couldn't be bothered enough to change. After quickly wrapping a scarf around her neck, Julia grabbed one of her many jackets that was hanging up in her closet and put it on before she slipped into a comfortable pair of UGG boots and made her way out of her room and out of the building. Taking a quick look around to make sure Maddie wasn't already outside, she sat down on one of the many steps when she saw that she was the first one out, and waited patiently as she played with her phone.
