what i love about hilson so much is that they both perform to society as something they are not but they never perform to each other. wilson can be his own crazy and careless person with house. house will take him genuine and insane, and he actually prefers wilson that way. he loves when wilson is not boring, when he is himself, when he is not performing care for other people. and wilson takes house at his most vunerable, when he's not performing the apathic shelf he performs for everybody else, when he is just being a human being. they both complete each other like yin and yang and most importantly their love for each other is steady even if their relationship is not. they never have to perform for one another. they can be themselves

Hey folks I’m watching House. I’m about 7 episodes in. When will they explain why Wilson follows House around like the specter of a dead wife determined to keep her widowed husband interested in living?

House would walk into Wilson's office, wordlessly stop and stare at the carpet until Wilson sighs and asks "Can I help you?"

House would look up and say "I love you, Wilson"

Wilson would just reply "not giving you the patient's file."

House would stumble closer and say "forget about the patient for a second-"

Wison: Okay this is definitely a ruse because you would NEVER say that

House: Wilson I LOVE you

Wilson: wh...what are you doing. Why are you..

Then they'd kiss. Wilson would be shocked until he closes his eyes. 3 seconds would pass before his face scrunches up and he pulls back and says "what- what did you put in my mouth!?"

Then his eyes would roll back and he'd collapse to the floor. House would step over his body, take the patients file, decide to take Wilson's coffee while he's at it, and leave

The conversations that House and Wilson have end up with so much homoerotic tension every interaction it's legitimately insane. Dudes are straight breathing directly into each other's mouths and syndronized stepping there is no way they don't think about each other in the shower. House thinks about Wilson immediately after sex with a woman. Wilson spends Christmas with house instead of his wife. They base their entire lives around playing gay chicken with each other.
