JUNE 2022 FC DIRECTORY UPDATE

Hi there! I know it's been A WHILE since I last posted but I felt inspired to drop in and update the South Asian fc directory. In other words I've been quietly hanging around working on this update for the last two months. What's new you ask? The age filters have been completely overhauled to make it so you can sort fcs by year of birth rather than age, making the directory more sustainable in the long run. And, more importantly, over 300 new faceclaims have been added bring the directory to a GRAND TOTAL of 612 South Asian fcs!! Please share this so that people see and keep including more beautiful South Asian representation in your roleplays. ♥

In the Shadow of the Sun by EM Castellan [February 2020] A YA historical fantasy book set in the 17th century; in 17th century France, Louis XIV enlists the help of the magic-wielding Henriette of England to help defeat a dark force threatening the king’s authority and his desire to build a new palace as the seat of France’s power: Versailles. The Rose of Versailles by Ryoko Ikeda (Volumes 1-3) [Various dates, 2020] The much-anticipated English translation of Ryoko Ikeda’s ‘The Rose of Versailles’ is set for publication in 2020. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything strictly within the grounds of historical fiction. 

However, in terms of fantasy, I did find this list of many different LGBTQ+ characters in fantasy!
