Genesis Chapter 9 tells us a true story about not running and telling people a story that isn't yours to tell. When Ham found his father naked, drunk, and vulnerable, he ran to tell his brothers what he saw. Japheth and Shem covered their father without taking his manhood away and further embarrassing him by not looking at his nakedness. This is a good example of right and wrong and not to spread other people's business. Noah cursed Canaan because his father Ham humiliated him by making him servants to his brothers and uncles.

On February 27th of the year 601, the Lord said Noah and all that was with him could leave the Ark. When they exited the Ark, Noah and God realized how beautiful what God created truly was. God made a decision that he would never destroy the beauty because of man ever again. The earth would exist as long as day and night, summer and winter, and harvest existed.

Then the only thing that walk, crawl, fly or breathe that survived about the 150 days of the submerged land was on the Ark.

God created such a beautiful place for Adam, his family, the animals, and sea creatures, but all he could see is the wickedness and evil of the earth.
"And so Noah did all things as God instructed"- Gen 6:22

Found this on google images. Thought the drawing was pretty cool and informative as to the generations of Adam.

Family can cause heartache and turmoil. In this chapter a lot happens from murder to lying to polygamy. As we all know, these are acts of sin. Although we should never commit acts of sin, we are imperfect humans- it happens. We must beg and pray for forgiveness from our Lord God. If God lays out laws of sin and we can be forgiven for committing acts against this law, we can forgive others, especially family members. Of course they're certain circumstances where this is not feasible, or advisable. Cain murdered his brother out of an act of jealousy. God preferred Abel's gift over Cain's. Even when God knew the truth and knew the actions of which took place, when asked, Cain lied. Still, God made sure he would not be crucified. He made him leave Eden and took his means of employment, housing, and family. He gave him forgiveness. We need to try to forgive forgivable acts. It doesn't mean consequences wont be put into place. Consequences are necessary. Its how we learn. Its how we know not to do that thing again. We are all God's children and deserve forgiveness.

In the Garden of Eden there was such beauty: the trees, the birds, the rivers, the sky, the animals. The serpent 🐍 told Eve that she was missing out by not eating that delicious apple from that beautiful tree, then they ate it. We can know the right things to do or say, but if we don't follow God's word and do what's in our hearts, then we have consequences. We can blame Adam and Eve for listening to the serpent instead of God, and I guess on some level we could, but if we do what is best with the deck of cards given and live by God's way and word and believe and trust in him, we will find the happiness and fulfillment we have been desiring for so long.

After the seventh day when he rested, God breathed in the dust from the ground through his nostrils to give life to man. He gave us beautiful trees and land to see and eat from. He gave us gracious animals for the waters and the sea. God told him you can eat from anything you see, just not the tree of knowledge of evil and good. He put Adam to a deep sleep and took a rib from his rib cage and created what Adam would later call Woman. The only thing he asked from Adam was to not eat from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.

When there was absolutely nothing not a bird in the sky or even the sky, human beings roaming around or even a place to roam around, heaven or earth, God created it all. He created the Heaven and Earth, he created the animals, birds, and sea creatures, he created man and woman. He created it all from absolutely nothing. It's astonishing to even grasp upon: nothing at all existed. From that he created the beautiful world we live in today. We must appriciate that and give thanks for that, if nothing else.

All sins can be forgiven. Absolutely no sin is unforgivable. Yes, even that one. Yes, even that one. Yes, even that one.
Stop acting like violence and murder are an appropriate response to sin. We don't have to allow someone to continue to cause pain to others but we are called to mercy and forgiveness.
Christ died for all of us, and paid the price for all of our sins.
Yes, even that one.

Started my Bible study yesterday. I'm just trying to get my groove in place. It will be nice if I could figure it out so it's not taking up my entire day. I want to put a schedule in place that works everyday no matter what. Either way, it's working out.
