Today we got to see Lootas, the sea canoe that Bill Reid carved in 1984 which the Haida rowed to Vancouver for expo 86. 49 feet long by 6 feet wide, and 6 feet tall with a hull thickness of 1". This canoe was carved out of a single 800 year old cedar tree.
