You Missed - A. Irwin

Ashton Irwin, the man of your dreams, asked you out. You were overjoyed by the though of I bing just you and him. You’ve known each other for quite some time but never pursued anything other than a friendship. The other day when he asked you out, you were surprised to say the least. He had your favorite flowers and asked you out like a gentleman. He was so sweet, caring, and everything you were looking for in a guy.

As the day of your date rolled around, you became quite nervous. You spent the whole day picking out what to wear, doing your hair, and makeup. Although he has told you upon many occasions that he doesn’t care how you look, it’s great either way. You could hear him telling you that you looked just as beautiful without makeup, the though made a smile form on you face.

The time passed quickly as you waited a bit for 7pm to come. Filling the time with scrolling through Instagram and TikTok till you heard the long awaited knock on your door. You opened it to find Ashton dressed in a nice pair of slacks, a red polka dot shirt and dress coat. His hair was styled to perfection as usual and his dimples were showing. You felt your chest tighten, he was so dang gorgeous. “Hi” he whispered looking at you up and down. He bit his lip slightly making you internally swoon. “Wow” he said making you blush. “What” you asked him, fearing something was wrong with how you looked. “Nothing, nothing at all. Just didn’t know I’d be going on a date with a snack”

His remark made you chuckle as you linked arms with him and pulled him down the hallway of your apartment building while saying “let’s go lover boy” his giggle filled the air making you smile. Oh how you loved that sound. You arrived at dinner and just enjoyed each other’s company while chatting about each other’s week.

The evening came to a close as he drove back to your apartment building to drop you off. You bummed along to the song as he pulled into the parking lot. He insisted on walking to your apartment cause you were supposedly “too hot and any guy would jump on you if he could” you laughed at him. Once you made it to your door to turned to face him. You put your hands on his shoulders and fiddled with the collar or his red shirt, “thank you for tonight, Ash. I really enjoyed spending my time with you” he smile as you spoke. “Does that mean your up for a second date?” He asked with a slight smirk. You nodded your head, “very much so Mr. Irwin” you responded to him. “Same day, same time next week” he informed.

You nodded you head taking note of the time and date for next week. You leaned in a left a quick kiss on his cheek and turned to go into your apartment, but were stopped by a firm grip on your wrist. “You missed” you heard Ashton say as you turned around. “Huh?” You replied, not quite sure what he was talking about. He cupped your face in his hands and came dangerously close to your face.

“I said you missed” his warm lips were on yours before you could even process what he said. “I guess I did miss” you chuckled, pulling away from the man. You both reconnected your lips before he left with a good night and a peck on the cheek. You walked into your apartment and closed the down sliding down to the floor as you thought about what just happened. The stupid smile couldn’t be wiped off your face.

Um so I've taken a HUGE liking into 5sos and cant help but swoon over Mr. Irwin- like pls how can someone look that good??? N e wayzzzz- heres this one and hopefully I'll have some more wdw ones. Jack looked up when you popped the cap off, the sudden sound catching his attention.

He was beside you on his bed, working away at his laptop as you silently read beside him. It was one of those days where the curtains lightly bristled as a soft breeze kicked through the city. The kind that had Jack opening all of his windows and letting fresh air filter through the house. The sun was beginning to set, it’s crystalline rays of dying light laying over Jack’s bedroom.

He watched as you twisted the bottom of the small tube in your hands, watched as you brought it to your lips and moved it side to side. It left behind a faint, glossy sheen on your lips and the sweet smell of the chapstick was quick to reach Jack’s nose.
