it takes a while for yoongi to move on from the fish murder

they decide to get a dog after the horror of the goldfish

they get a white shepherd and namjoon names it “rapmon” and yoongi rolls his eyes

whenever namjoon breaks something in the house he blames it on the dog

“namjoon you’re telling me that rapmon broke the bathroom door handle”

“yes that’s exactly what im telling you”

“that’s impossible”

namjoon lying through his teeth and yoongi knowing this but acting like he believes him anyway because his husband is cute

they spend most of their time cuddling with rapmon lying on top of namjoon’s legs

(rapmon also sleeps on the foot of their bed)

yoongi’s saved as ‘hubby’ on namjoon’s phone

namjoon saved as ‘min namjoon’

“i told you i will never take your last name min namjoon sounds weird”

yoongi sleeps on namjoon’s chest and likes the way he can feel namjoon chuckle underneath his cheek

namjoon’s runs his hand through yoongi’s hair and occasionally pecks him on the forehead and tilts his head to kiss him properly

imagine all the members eating breakfast together and namjoon gets up and says “guess i better go work in my studio” and kisses yoongi. all the members are in shock and namjoon realizes he messed up so to cover it up he kisses everyone and then quickly leaves. and jimin goes “what the hell was that?” and yoongi pretending nothing happened “probably some goodbye european thing he picked up on” and jin still confused says “that’s not european!!” and then you got hoseok out of nowhere “idk, it felt french”

i hope from watching this video that all you sugamon shippers out there can agree on or consider the following:

namjoon being the little spoon

because namjoon is fucking cuddly and yoongi will indulge him in that

yoongi being the protective boyfriend

yoongi letting namjoon sleep on his shoulders ALL THE TIME and the other members find it cute as hell

do you… ever find it cute how bts remember each other’s eating habits? like how they were just randomly eating pineapple shrimp and when jin said “people with childlike taste would love this”, yoongi added in “namjoon would love this” and jin went “but namjoon doesn’t eat shrimp”? or how jimin said he ordered bigger size burger just in case taehyung doesn’t like his burger, since he doesn’t like avocado much? or how taehyung and yoongi were about to do a mission of drinking lemon juice and whistling and jin just went “one of them can’t drink lemon juice and the other can’t whistle” out of nowhere? or how jimin was about to do the same mission and jungkook said “he’s good at this! he likes sour things!”? or how they were choosing the restaurant to eat in and jin said “but (jimin and namjoon) can’t eat seafood”? or how jimin said jungkook won’t be able to eat the green banana because he can’t eat bitter food? or how they bought cherry tomatoes while they were grocery shopping without hoseok because hoseok loves cherry tomatoes? or how taehyung gave yoongi the boiled egg yolk because he knew yoongi eats egg white and egg yolk separately?

the only thing about burn the stage that makes me kinda ://// is that it’s concept goes opposite with the views boys shared on the topic of their (idol) images which they talked about in the hidden skit of Her. we’ll see, i guess. it’s stupid to make assumptions only from the obviously very dramatic ep descriptions

double standards and hypocrisy

So, Burn the Stage. A reality series in which BTS expose all: performing doesn’t come without pain. Relationships aren’t without conflict. Not all that glitters is gold. Et cetera.

Many ARMY are calling out BigHit, accusing them of trying to monetize the boys’ struggles, that they’re victimizing them, that they’re using their pain to reap rewards. If that’s true then haven’t BigHit and BTS always profitted off the boys’ struggles from the very start? They’ve never shied away from sharing anything of the sort, so. Why is it so different now?

There are two main issues I have with this.

The first being: ARMY should consider themselves lucky to have their idols supported by BigHit. They’re not perfect, but they are a farcry better than other entertainment companies. There is always, always going to be instances of idols being overworked–the same is true even in the West. What’s important to remember about BigHit is, they have showed true concern for the boys’ physical and mental states. It’s apparent the boys have been struggling the last couple of months and subsequently, they’ve virtually disappeared from the public eye. Also, when any of the members become injured or are sick, they’re not forced to perform onstage. BigHit wouldn’t even let Jimin perform because his neck and shoulders were a little stiff.

Secondly: the insinuation BTS had nothing to do with this is…an asinine idea. Consent must be given for the release of this kind of information. Also, need I remind you? BTS has never been silent about the issues they’ve faced.

It took me a while to figure out why I was so upset by the reaction of ARMY, but I finally parsed it down to this: double standards and hypocrisy.

How is it Yoongi can basically say he was suicidal in The Last and be praised for that, but as soon as they want to talk about depression within the setting of a reality series, suddenly it’s off-limits?

Or in their song Move, wherein Namjoon talks about the struggles of their early days in the dorm, mentioning how he and Yoongi fought all the time? That’s okay, but showing Taehyung and Seokjin having an argument is a big no no?

People don’t want to hear Jungkook talk about the strain of practicing and performing, don’t want to watch him faint from overextertion, but at the same time are okay with videos of Jimin fainting on stage or at the airport being posted on Twitter and YouTube?

It doesn’t make any sense.

For me, this is just another way for BTS to be honest about themselves. Another way for them to connect with their fans beyond the superficial. Is it going to be painful to watch? Yes. Is it going to bring up a lot of issues that are perhaps uncomfortable? Of course. But is that any reason for them not to do it? No. In fact, I’d argue that this is as important as anything else they’ve ever done. Within this series, questions are going to be asked and criticisms made about the entertainment industry and its effect on the physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing of the idols working within the system.

This is something true to the mission BTS started years ago.

I think ARMY is overly concerned with protecting BTS and in their own way, have also victimized the boys. At the very least, they’re being very patronizing.

If there’s this big of a reaction to just a few synopses of a series that hasn’t been released yet then…I really worry about the comeback happening soon.
