Shouldn’t be happening: Snafu x M! Reader

Idea: How Snafu feels when he catches feelings for a male marine who works along side him.

A/N: This is a terrible first post but I’m just getting used to writing on here so excuse the terrible everything going on in this

•At first he was simply confused

•He hadn’t ever liked another man before, not in the way he was feeling about you

•He tried to ignore it by avoiding you 

•But he found it hard to ignore you when you were always with his best friend, Sledgehammer

•Then he became angry

•He would tell himself he ‘ain’t a gayboy’ ‘ain’t no fag’ 

• but soon enough he realised there wasn’t anything he could do about his feelings for you

•Instead of telling you, he tried showing you

• because the little baby was too scared to tell you in fear you were straight and would be disgusted at him, but you never would cause he’s honestly just a big sweetie

•He showed you by doing simple things like:

- offering you smokes often

-giving you great big smiles

-comforting you when you missed home

-helping you with setting up a bed or getting your aim better

-hugging you when no one was looking

-cuddling you on colder nights when everyone is asleep

-Letting you call him Merriel or any kind of nickname you could think of without complaint

•you caught on and told him you felt the same

•This shocked him but did make him very happy but also very scared

•He told you no one can know about anything the two of you do

•He would often treat you kinda badly when others were around since he was so scared someone would catch on 

•But when he would sneak you away late at night and kiss you under the stars, you knew everything would be just fine.
