Collaboration project-- Working in each other's style to create an outcome which takes us out of our comfort zone. This highlights the importance of exploring different types of art.

There is something inspiring about finding materials that carry traits and marks from previous use. I find myself developing concepts through the use of found material. This minimalistic, matte grey circle conveys an undesired affect, yet the colour, shape and form inspires me.

Over christmas i took a trip to the ‘ States of mind ’ exhibition by Ann Veronica Janssens, It was a ambiguous and disorienting. The colour mist absorbed my attention, I was in engrossed by the feeling of nothingness, allowing my perception to control my experience.

Geometric Sculpture experimenting with light 

[holl--art]

After exploring movement through performance art, i decided to experiment with sculpture and light. This particular piece was created using wire, i drew a sketch taken from the large scale outcomes and followed the lines creating a 3D circular wire frame. I then began experimenting using fabric, light and colour. I feel the outcome demonstrates the fluidity of movement in an abstract manner.

Documenting movement through photography, performance and mark making. This was my final project for my foundation at AUB. I wore plain clothing to allow the trace of movement through materials be present.
