Ragatha and Jax both have farms in their lives, and both seem to get touchy when the subject of their mother is brought up.

Both are morally complex and need to be delved into. Like both clearly have been through things. I also don't think Ragatha deserves the hate like yeah some stuff she has said is uncalled for but that doesn't make her a conniving bitch what 😭

You can disapprove of some of the actions each of them take, but there's no need to villanize Ragatha and make Jax this character that is undeniably innocent like they are complex-

Selfless and doesn't wish for anyone to worry about him even when he's clearly hurt.

Ralsei is a personal favorite and a character I relate too and honestly, his newer sprites and new expressions felt like a slap to the face

He got a whole bunch of new sprites, and most of them are traumatized-

But I actually really like the development of Ralsei. He went from "The prophecy must be followed." To "I have hope the prophecy may be changed." Because of the journey he's had with Kris and Susie, but especially in chapter 4, Susie in chapter 4 particularly instilled a sense of hope in Ralsei. Ralsei wanting more for himself is something I'd like to see more of. He refers to himself as selfish when he wants something despite it being anything but.

Even thinking his emotions alone are selfish because of who/what he is.

Even telling Kris and Susie to move on and get new friends, to forget about him since he can't exist in the light, so his feelings as a Darkner don't matter.

He only has the best intentions despite the secrets, dreading the end of the prophecy because he cares so deeply for both of his companions. Trying to take the lead and burden of everything, such as trying to make sure Susie never sees the end of the prophecy, and apologizing profusely when she does because the end of it alone distresses him and he didnt wish for her to find out. It's not just what he thinks is best, but it's hard for him as well as it pains him. He feels like he doesn't have WORTH unless it's being useful to Kris and Susie because, as he believes as a Darkner, his purpose is to a Lightner. However, that's started to change, although bit by bit, he wants CHANGE, and he wants to be overjoyed without feeling selfish- to be in the presence of those he holds dear. A new kind of hope has been instilled in him.

But seriously, Kris being more expressive and having some more influence and just being their overall weird self- Yes, let them continue to be weirdos 🩷

I'm glad we get to see more facets to Kris, proving their not just neutral and so flat. Everything FEELS human about the characters in a sense that there's just so much to them, not just one dimensional

To be honest Toriel and Sans dancing was so cute and i thought it was goofy as hell!....Until I looked over at Kris's reaction and it hit me that if all that shit happened and ya wanted to come home and just rot for a bit and find your ma and the convenience store jackass dancing, happy drunk, and brushing you off- I'd probably create a dark fountain then and there- Like they didn't seem surprised at all that Toriel was like this which just makes it worse. Not to mention your best friend grows uncomfortable and leaves, and even THAT is brushed off to just not worry about her. This is another side to Toriel and shows a sense of neglect- like she didn't check on them at all, just offered food, and the fridge didn't even have what was offered. She hadn't asked why they were gone so long or where they had been, she decided to just yk have fun, not even a call on Kris's phone.

On another note, I'm wondering what Susie had said at the end of the chapter because when she spoke, they had grown quiet immediately. I'm clawing at my screen right now for more lore and for Kris to have some fucken freedom for once. Not to mention the scene where Asgore speaks of like something he has to prove so that things can come to light? Both Dreemurs are far from innocent. I don't think Toriel is a bad mom, but I do wonder more about what's going on with the Dreemurs.
