Last Song/Album: The Child You Were by Frances Aravel, it was a soundtrack for I Was a Teenage Exocolonist and I had so much fun playing the game and this hit me in the feels lol

Favorite color: currently it is Yellow! Though I change my mind all the time because they are all beautiful one way or another

Sweet, spicy or savory: once again I'm not consistent at all with it but at the moment it's savory!

Last TV show: I'm keeping up with The Apothecary Diaries and Dungeon Meshi, the one I finished last was Castlevania: Nocturne I think

Last film: La La Land. I wasn't interested that much and didn't watch it all this time but my partner's friends were having a discussion about it so we watched it together to see what was it about ahshha

Last thing I looked up online: my partner isn't feeling well and had to take a medication so I looked up the effects and side effects just in case

Relationship status: in a relationship

Favorite color: blue or black. Technically both. I love blues, especially deeper blues but black has also always been my color. I've gravitated towards it since I was young. (I was born to be goth rofl.)

Sweet, spicy or savory: this one is weird. In the last five years, especially this past year, my tolerance for anything sweet has drastically diminished. I still love savory stuff but I have to be in the mood. And my spice tolerance has increased in a weird balancing act to the growing intolerance for sweets? So...spicy, I guess?

Last TV show: starting a Gravity Falls rewatch baybeeeee

Last film: Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

Last thing I looked up online: I'm honestly not sure

Relationship status: Married

Current obsession: Twisted Wonderland (secondary obsession is still horror media, and Disney properties are sort of a side focus/satellite thing as a result of the TWST obsession; I cannot stress enough this silly little mobile game became both a SpIn and a hyperfixation in record time and it's been going strong since late October 2023 and shows no signs of stopping. Also, though it technically falls under the umbrella of horror media, thanks The Magnus Protocol for reigniting the magpod hyperfixation)

the animation in trigun stampede gives me the exact same excitement that i get from the art in trigun maximum and it’s SUCH a good feeling

at first i was disappointed by the overall lack of feathers in tristamp but i’m completely over it now; i really really love the perspective that the new designs give to the difference between knives and vash’s wings as well

their wings have always been a clear representation of themselves—knives’ are bladed weapons while vash’s are organic and used to shield & protect

while knives’ wings in stampede are still in the same vein, vash’s are even more breathtaking to me. creating their shape with an array of roots and lights that them look so alive and beautiful…

i can't get over the way Vash says he'll run to the ends of the earth to keep from hurting humans, and when things calm down he'll return to their side. because that's who he is, that's how he sees himself—a dog that, kicked a hundred times, still comes back hoping for a kind touch. he's just...so profoundly, maddeningly lonely, and it's this loneliness that nothing can salvage. the way he asks his brother, when did we get so different? his brother hopes to ease Vash's pain by changing him, and the humans do nothing for him but exist—in the end, that's all Vash has ever asked for from anything he loves. to exist by their side in the brief moments between being hunted. and that's not just love, it's this unfathomably sad yearning for company that makes him believe that any amount of abuse is worth it for the briefest moments of respite. Knives offers him a paradise of two, but Vash's loneliness is bigger than that. it's bigger than the whole fucking world.
