New Feeling (Closed RP)

Well, this was certainly it. The lowest of the low. She had hit bedrock with where she stood right now. Tanzanite had attempted to take out/get information from the Crystal Gems, but after a rough long battle between them all, she was met with disastrous failure. Her ship was destroyed, her gem had gotten cracked and subsequently healed by the Rose Quartz ‘Steven’, and was ultimately allowed to live instead of being shattered or bubbled. She had unwillingly been accepted somewhat by the enemy. If word got back to Yellow Diamond, or if she dared to try and show her face to her again, she would most likely be shattered for her failures.

As such, here she was, stuck on this strange planet. Currently she was using what the humans called a ‘wheelbarrow’ to transport what was left of her broken ship and her portable light cannon. She pushed it all the way up to the farm that she had visited and attacked before. She knew and expected this would go bad fairly quickly, as she soon came across the ones living here. She stopped a long distance away from them to give them room as she called out to them. “Hello.”

That was when Tanzanite’s egotistical grin changed. It did not just fade, it became the exact opposite, a disappointing scowl. “Tch.....” She paused at such questions for a few moments.

“Yeah, I know ‘em. I was sent here by Yellow Diamond to try and start up the cluster again, and possibly get more information out of Peridot 5XG...” She let out a sigh before continuing. “Unfortunately, things did not pan out as planned.... my ship got destroyed, they broke my light cannon, and one of them managed to crack my gem....” It was odd that she said this though, seeing as how her gem, located on her upper left arm, seemed perfectly fine. She hated that she had to list out her failures, but she doubted she could dance around the issue.

“Well well well, if it isn’t a Tanzanite. I haven’t seen one of you guys in forever. Homeworld hasn’t been able to make anymore due to the lack of sources. I would assume you’re from the war then?” The light blue gem asked. Despite being so young it was still a rule on Homeworld to learn gem history.

At the moment, Aquamarine was intrigued by this stranger. Because she was an Era 2 gem she’d never seen a more rare gem before.

Tanzanite folded her arms as she looked up at the hovering Aquamarine. She took a moment to think about what exactly her tone was when speaking towards her. However, she soon gave a soft smirk of ego, when she brought up how long she’s possibly been around.

“Heheh. Yes, I’m from years prior to the war, and obviously, was around during it. Yes, it’s a shame we can’t really make more of us these days. Otherwise, things might actually start getting done.” She took that moment to of course stroke her own ego.

“Hmph.” Tanzanite gave a small huff with a smile at Pearl’s comments back to her. “You don’t need to see me to speak.” She continued her constant, yet slow, movement as to not get caught. She also gave a small chuckle at the word ‘unreasonable’. “Heheheh....unreasonable? Heheheheh....nooooo.... unreasonable would be heading straight to your HQ or that town near it, and just being trigger happy with the ship’s main cannon.”

Tanzanite’s smile grew more as she continued. “Unreasonable would be holding the people of this planet hostage, or desecrating the various war remnants that I’m sure you Crystal Gems are protective of.... No, you Pearl... this is about as reasonable as you’ll see me be.” Her voice dripped with enthusiasm at such dastardly ideas and strategies to get information out of Pearl and the others. “Now, why don’t you simply tell me how you managed to stop the cluster from emerging?”

“That’s it! Die!” As Tanzanite swung her arm downward to attempt to smash her axe into Peridot’s gem, she felt her axe shake and fly out of her hand. It slung forward, twirling in the air before landing with a thud to the ground in front of Lapis. It did indeed to be made out of metal, unlike most gem weaponry. “What the-” Tanzanite stood in awe and confusion of how Peridot could have removed the axe from her. “How did you-?!”

She tightened her grip on Peridot, now using both of her arms. This was bad. She lost both of her weapons, and all she had left to use was this Peridot. If she got hit by another wave from Lapis she’d probably be caught and finished. “Uuuugh! Forget this, and forget you two!” She suddenly let go of Peridot, and giving her a swift kick to the back to push her towards Lapis rather harshly.

“I can find answers from the others anyways....” Tanzanite changed her colors to practically vanish for the last time as she darted away, making her escape.

“Ah-ah-ah.” Tanzanite spoke with a condescending tone, giving another soft tap against Peridot’s visor. “It sounds to me like you’re just repeating yourself now. I’d say that wasn’t worthy enough information, and your time is running out.”

Her grip tightened on Peridot to try and keep her from shaking so much, as it was now deeply annoying her. “You know what? Let’s get specific!” She was now raising her axe up over her own head threateningly. “I wanna know how those Crystal Gems managed to get to the cluster and stop it! The cluster is deep within this planet correct? Then they must have used a device to get to it or something like that! Tell me right now or I bring this axe right down on you!” It seems that Tanzanite had lost all of her patience and left them with no time left.

Tanzanite chuckled a bit as the two of them quickly saw the new danger and backed down. She continued to gesture and give very light taps against Peridot’s visor with the tip of her axe as she spoke. “Well, you’re not really giving me much of a choice. I know this Peridot seems to have difficulty speaking when frightened, but it seems its the only way it’ll go.” She gave a soft sigh of unknown expression.

“You know, I’d be glad to let go of her without any injuries, but you see....I’m getting really impatient. In fact, I’m starting to weigh my options. Cause... you haven’t given me much to go on, Peridot... Haha...I might even say I’d be better off just shattering you and looking for an opening to the Cluster myself.”

Her smile broadened. “So, I’ll give you...One. Last. Chance....” She leaned her head down closer to Peridot’s head for even more intimidation factor. “Convince me to keep you alive. Give me the information I want, and I won’t shatter you and use whats left as an addition to the cluster.” She then focused her gaze back to Lapis. “And if you make a move with yourself or your water, I will not hesitate in shattering her.”

Once judging each of their reactions, a smile plastered on her face the whole time, she would start moving as fast as she could in the water she was suspended in. In a few seconds she was able to fall out of the water, landing with a soft thud onto the grass. She was able to be somewhat seen by the left over water that was sticking to her, but to them it would look as if some drops of water were floating in mid-air.

That would change when she’d begin running though, the water droplets soon falling off of her from the new momentum. Once she felt like she was a somewhat safe distance away she’d stop and look back at them for a moment before slowly walking again. She kept her pace slow as to not have the grass she was stepping on to give her away so easily.

Although Tanzanite had not been expecting a fight from these two, she would gladly take up challenge. However, she knew that the Peridot might be given the time to escape if she stopped to fight Lapis, so she was her first target. She focused on getting close to Peridot, while keeping her eyes fixed on Lapis. Once close, she stepped behind Peridot, wrapping her left arm around her neck and putting her into a hold. Once grabbed she’d reveal herself, returning to her true blue colors and reaching over with her right arm and producing an axe from her gem. She’d raise the blade of the axe up to hover over Peridot’s visor, just above the area that covered her gem. “You know, normally I don’t have a reputation for taking hostages, but I guess I’m trying something new. Now then... Lapis you’re going to let me take this Peridot back to my ship. Wouldn’t want to chip or crack her gem, now would we?”

“Tch. Well there has to be some way that the crystal gems managed to burrow into this planet to get to the cluster to stop it right? I’m not about to lower my weapon until you tell me where they-” They’re talking managed to cover up the sound of the water drops, and soon she was cut off by being swallowed up by the water.

She moved her arm, trying to aim at the blue gem to fire, but the currents pulled the cannon right off of her and flung it away. Now that it was disconnected from her form, it powered down and the humming ceased.

She turned her head to look between the two of them, an absolutely furious look grew on her face. “Ohhhh, so you’re actually gonna try to fight me...I see how it is.” Her expression changed, putting on an angry, yet excited smile as she altered her colors to her new surroundings, appearing as if she had practically vanished from the water shark.
