Really quite happy with this piece :)

the rendering could use some work along with the dragons anatomy but I am overall very pleased

I attempted smaugust last year, failing as I seem so adept at doing, and this year, I plan to lock in and do the whole month. Granted, chances are slim as I have a shit ton of fuckass summer work and I am a massive failure at this sort of thing. Still, I remain hopeful.

It will be a lot easier than #mermay as I don't have any school this month but I digress.

MERMAY DAY #3 - HAIR

So much for locking in. I honestly was quite hopeful that I could get it done but God Knows What At This Point got in the way so now I have three (3) mermaids where I should have 31.

I am quite happy with this piece. I attempted a sort of "digital painting" style that I haven't mastered but I've not failed at either. This piece had the most complex development process, with my initial concepts involving a mermaid with braids but due to time constraints I went with this anemone lookin thing you see now. I am not a fan of the design, as its literally a pink old lady with a big ol hairblob but I am mostly happy with this piece
