~~~Lifeguarding~~~
Another Lifeguarding cheat sheet! I’m splitting up this page between two posts. The left side is all about oxygen and rescue breathing related terms.
The words in green are important terms to remember and the numbers in purple are percents or numbers I need to have memorized for resuscitations.
I drew a little picture of lungs in the side just for fun; I really want to start adding more cute drawings to my notes!
I used the EnerGel 0.7 pen in black and the PaperMate flair pens in medium.
P.S. yes, I’m watching Grey’s Anatomy 👩🏻‍⚕️
~~~Lifeguarding~~~
As a lifeguard, there are a TON of acronyms we have to memorize. I had previously made a big study guide that contained all of the terms, but since all the acronyms are scattered all around I decided to make this refresher sheet.
I made the first letter of every word in the acronym green so that it would stand out. There’s nothing really special about this little cheat sheet, but it’s a handy thing to have before re-certification exams.

~ music history ~
A few last-minute notes I took for my music history final exam last semester. Since I was pressed for time, I didn’t use any highlighters or different colored pens. I opted to just copy important points from my professor’s powerpoints that he posted online. Even though I didn’t have a super organized or color-codes system of taking notes for this class, I found that even a simple approach did the trick!

~~~History~~~
A little before and after of highlighting. Currently studying to take the U.S. History CLEP, so as you can imagine I’ve been taking a LOT of notes.
To keep things simple, I’m only using three highlighting colors and just plain black ink. At the top of my page I made a little key for what each highlighter color means.
This minimalist method is really great for when you’re pressed for time or for in-class notes. Definitely recommend doing this over wasting too much time with calligraphy notes!
I have an HP Spectre computer and used the EnerGel 0.7 pen and Arteza highlighters
~~~Planning~~~
Hey guys, here’s an old calendar planning I did back in March. I like to color-code all my classes and activities and for extra fun, I drew little palm trees on every day of spring break— even though I didn’t travel haha. 🌴
And yes, I am watching the office while I schedule. What can I say, even though it’s super basic, it’s a great show.
I have an HP Spectre laptop and used the PaperMate Flair felt tip pens on medium. I think it’s the tropical colors set.

~~~Biology 1 Notes~~~
Another bio time lapse! My professor had given us a packet of questions we should be able to answer to study for the final exam, so I went through all the lecture PowerPoints and my notes to make my final study guide
To be able to understand how different organelles work together inside a cell, I drew each organelle in their “chain of command” then, I labeled and wrote definitions
Totally recommend using drawings and different colors to help keep your notes organized and easier to understand!
I have an HP Spectre computer and used sharpie pens and the EnerGel 0.7 pen
~~~Biology 1 Notes ~~~
My professor posts the class PowerPoints on Canvas, so I use that along with the notes I took during class to study.
In this time lapse, I was making a study guide for an exam. When I have a lot of closely-related terms, I like to make tables with definitions and sometimes even drawings.
