always fun seeing american ~leftists~ who defend the US army, bc they always go, "yes its shitty but -" oh, is murder shitty ? is rape shitty ? is torturing someone to near death just shitty ? i would describe someone making fun of me as being shitty - but genocide ?
"oh, it's shitty that these ppl commit mass rape but its not their fault !!! they don't know any better !!!! they are just a poor queer poc who was never taught that murdering children was bad !!! they would be homeless if they didn't rape women in front of their families, you see !!! it's not like they were murdering REAL people, after all !!! just faceless, brown ones with no opinions or lives or futures !!! they, the rapist murderers of america, are the TRUE victims here !!!"
truly, an anonymous ppl of the global south moment.

calling black people kkk members is a Choice. is the only black person they interact with candice owens?
Well the thing is, I don't think they actually interact with real Black people at all. I have a theory that the people who purposely call Black Americans "AmeriKKKans" 1) have no idea what the Klan is and are just using a word to sound tough (not uncommon with AAVE as a whole) and/or 2) don't care because their end goal is to harass a Black person and couch it in "well I just hate Americans!"
Because while I too hate Black Americans who fight for empire, I also hate every American of Color who fights for empire- and if we check the stats, that happens FAR MORE OFTEN. and YET 😐 There is this resentment towards us, that we should be held accountable for Every Thing We Fuck Up, while completely refusing to acknowledge everything else around us (i.e., WHY that KKK gets used in the word). And God forbid you point that out in a supposedly progressive space.
Putting Black (and Brown!!) faces in High Places is all part of the colorblind racism necessary to continue to oppress the rest of us systemically without accusation. And I'd say that Black activists have written about and fought against this very thing for decades but, people are so busy hating Black people that they likely wouldn't bother read those books for understanding, so. 😐
#the kkk are a threat to americans ONLY primarily black americans#bc theyre an american organization that operates only on american soil#using a term black americans created to describe how racism is baked into the core of the american nation against black americans is racist
