Strolling down the main street, Killian smirked as he spotted the little art gallery owned by a former princess. He'd nothing better to do, and it was ever so much fun to push Aurora's buttons, watching her fume. As he pushed open the door, Killian couldn't help rolling his eyes at the soft little chime of the bell. Everything in this town was so precious he could vomit. "No rush, love." Killian called out with a smirk.

Things hadn’t exactly…calmed since the curse had broken. Granted, they weren’t exactly as explosive, either, but she couldn’t say she wasn’t on her guard. Especially with unsavory characters roaming about…one she’d encountered in particular…and she could exactly say she was in any sort of a hurry to see him again. 

Aurora was distracting herself, as she usually was these days, with restoring a piece she’d found in the attic of the old gallery by the time the bell above her door rang. “Be there in a moment!” She called, barely turning to look at the newcomer.

//So I mentioned, timidly coming back onto this blog but as really a non-canon Hook for people who aren't so pleased with what Hook's been turned season 3. I'm still sorting things out/trying to remember my previous headcanon but it's winter break and I've got time on my hands lol.

That being said, I probably won't be on much, I've got a very busy term ahead with three jobs, teaching practicum and a full class load of upper division classes.

But, if you want a Hook rp'er in the vein of our beloved, heart-stealing, brokenhearted bastard pirate of the first half of season 2, I'm your mun.

It was a sloppy job, Killian wasn't proud of that. He'd rushed to get here and rushed his surveillance and there were so many extra factors that a lessor thief would have just walked away. But Killian wanted this Monet, he'd been chasing it for ages and now it was right here, in New York being restored outside of the museum. Highly unusual, and perhaps his best chance to get his hands on this painting. 

The restorer's studio was tucked away in the back garden, separate from the house. In his short span of surveillance, he hadn't noticed any alarms, not much more than a padlock that was laughably easy to get off with some bolt cutters. Slipping quietly into the studio, he winced a bit as the hinges creaked, but it wasn't like there was a reason to care if he made noise - he was breaking into an empty studio away from the main house. So long as he didn't linger several hours until morning or somehow make a ridiculous amount of noise, Killian could make it in and out one Monet richer.

Slipping into the dark, Killian carefully started to look through all of the canvases that littered the studio. He could almost smell how close he was to finding his Monet when a creaking step behind him made Killian freeze.
