I think I have a crush.
Or—crushes. Plural. Which feels excessive, right? Like, who does that?
Except... I do.
It started so slow, I didn’t even notice it. Like... I just wanted to be around them. All the time. Talking. Listening. Laughing. And then one day, I realized I was cataloguing everything they said. And smiling at texts for too long. And thinking about them in the middle of The Catcher in the Rye and forgetting what page I was on.
I’m not saying names, though.
It’s the way one of them says my name when they’re excited. And how another always shares their snacks with me without asking. Or the way one of them looks at me when they think I’m not paying attention.
It’s not just one thing. It’s all the things. It’s... them.
I don’t even know if they like me back. Not like that. What if I’m just this weird new girl they tolerate? Or worse, the one they feel sorry for?

as a person who really has NO experience in any form of dancing, THAT’S AMAZING!!!
Destiny is a competitive dancer and does five different dance styles:
Ballet
Hip-Hop
Jazz
Tap
Acro
Hip hop is her favorite as it allows her to be as crazy and comfy as she wants when dancing. She also loves s/o's as it allows her to be the center of attention while in stage and have a spotlight on her.

In Derry, no one's history is sunshine and rainbows...except for Hope, who somehow has a good home life
Green means in character, no color means out of character
Hope Adams: A History
Hope Angelica Adams was born in a hospital in Portland, Oregon on April 9. Her father, Asher was an office worker, and her mother, Waverley stayed at home to care for Hope and her older brother, Ezra, who was ten years older than her. Hope’s parents didn’t like the way they were living, since they lived in a low-rent apartment and their lives were very gender stereotypical, so they moved out of Portland when Hope was five. The family moved around the U.S. a lot, and Hope barely remembers most of the places she’s lived in, even though most of her friends are EXTREMLY jealous of her of seeing what's outside of Derry.
Because of moving around a lot, Hope never had the chance to make friends her age, causing her social anxiety growing up. Her only companion was her black cat, Ponyboy, whom she got when she was six after her parents made her watch The Outsiders with them. When Hope was ten, Asher and Waverley finally settled in Derry, Maine. By this time, Ezra, now a grown man, moved out when Hope was seven. Hope never really bonded with her brother much during her childhood, Ezra wasn’t exactly mean to her, he was growing up and making his own decisions, so he was more of a background character than her parents.
Hope’s family lived next door to another family, the Denbroughs, and they had two kids that were between Hope’s age: Bill, who was eleven, and Georgie, who was four. Both Bill and Hope were shy upon meeting each other (they both started stuttering and trying to think of the right words), while Georgie was rolling on the floor and playing with Ponyboy in the background. After their first meeting, Hope developed a kind of a schoolgirl crush on Bill and would gaze at the house next door to see if Bill was in his room so they could talk via writing on a piece of paper. Whenever Hope’s parents were hunting for new jobs in Derry, she would either be at school (where she ate lunch by herself in the bathroom and tried to avoid being bullied by Henry Bowers, Greta Keene, and their goons) or with the Denbroughs (where she sat awkwardly on the couch reading Anne of Green Gables and wishing she could find her Gilbert).
Over time, as Hope lived in Derry, she had come to know (but sometimes openly talk to) Bill’s friends: Richie Tozier, the class clown and the trashmouth, Eddie Kaspbrak, the hypochondriac, Stanley Uris, the Jew with OCD, Beverly Marsh, the girl with the cool outfits, Ben Hanscom, the sweetheart, and Mike Hanlon, the farm boy. Hope, being the shy kid with social anxiety, never interacted with them much, ESPECIALLY Richie, since he swore a lot and she was appalled by it. But then again, her parents swear, but she doesn’t. Her parents don’t know why she doesn’t like swearing, since Ezra knew the word “bullshit” by the time he was eleven, but they didn’t mind. Most kids in Derry would call Hope “shy” and “a loser who didn’t have any friends”, though the adults in Derry called her “cute as a button” and “wouldn’t hurt a fly”. Hope had a good reputation with the adults in Derry because she cleaned up after herself and others, was AMAZING with little kids, and always asked permission from adults if she could call them by their first name.
As of the Pennywise incident, Hope is still a very well-behaved kid.
Likes: Reading, Babysitting, Helping out, Her cat Ponyboy, The Losers Club in a romantic platonic way, Wearing sweaters, Cooking, Her family, ABBA, movies
Dislikes: People being rude (her parents raised her and her brother as atheists, and Hope was well aware of the LGBTQ+ community), Friends fighting
