TAZ has given me so much already, but it also gave me my first post with over 1000 notes. Reading all the responses and the sweet words you all had for a (at the time) very depressed and questioning artist made me happier than I could ever put in words. Thank you all so so much.

TAZ: Balance - In Our Bedroom After the War

The lyrics for this comic come from “In Our Bedroom After the War” by Stars (in case the link above isn’t working), obviously, so you should listen while reading it or it won’t make a ton of sense! The rest of the comic is under the cut so as not to clog your dash too much, so please check it out and enjoy!

So with the first story of the adventure zone over, I wanted to give back to a show that has helped me make friends, improve my art, and also given me enough laughter to last 3 lifetimes.

 I never quite finished this comic and let it dwell in my drafts for far too long out of fear that people would think less of me for not finishing it. However, I figured I should share what I have because how else was I supposed to show my gratitude for this show? I drafted this before the final episode and finished what’s here before I listened to it, so it’s a little off canon, but I hope you enjoyed it!

Sooo... I may be working on a comic for TAZ, in honor of the finale and how much this show means to me, and these are the first two panels (out of 56 RIP) 

It’ll take me a while, but hopefully it’ll be a worthy tribute to a wonderful story and characters that have touched my heart. Stay tuned!
