This is the sewing project I finished today. Green velvet decorative pillow with self patterned and hand sewn mushroom details. It was super fun and only took a few hours to complete. There’s things I could have done better with it, but overall I’m super happy with the result! Been experimenting with different projects lately to give myself a little break from the plushes and work on my sewing. Made this cute succulent throw pillow yesterday. My newest finished commission. A swamp-yena! This is one of the more involved pieces I’ve ever done, I think. I had so much fun putting it together despite the fact that life made it so that it ended up taking way longer than it normally would have. Finished fixing up this little guy the other day. He was a gift from my brother, but he was looking a bit rough and needed some cleaning up. I cleaned the dust and debris out of the fur, removed the damaged leather and replaced it with a layer of moss, added some lovely little florals, crystals, and insects (real and paper). Visually, it’s a bit busy, but ya’ll know me with my maximalist aesthetics. 😆 I really like this guy. I just completed the design for my new logo! I wanted something more symmetrical but still incorporated the elements of the original design. I’ve had an unexpected influx of orders, which is a very nice problem to have, but on top of everything else going on in my life, it’s been difficult to keep up. But I am working my way through them slowly but surely!
