i think the ultimate power play from Change 2561 was not just in having such an astoundingly great 2024 lineup, but announcing it like roughly 48 hours after GMMTV had THEIR event with the second half of their 2024 lineup. all of the reactions i have seen on here to the GMMTV lineup have been mixed, to say the least - there's definitely been at least someone excited about each show, but basically no one is excited about ALL of GMMTV's shows. a lot of people are only excited about one or two things and actively planning on avoiding others.

meanwhile, Change 2561 was basically like "oh that's all you got eh?" and walked out their shows to essentially everyone losing their minds with excitement between Pit Babe getting a second season to the new shows. i'm sure there's some posts out there of people being only interested in some of the Change offerings but nothing like that has come across my dash, just unbridled enthusiasm about all of it to basically just continuous screaming.

like the general GMMTV reactions are people being like "oh neat, these two shows look great, one in particular is going to be my whole personality, but i don't care about the rest tho" while the Change 2561 reactions are that one girl screaming and smashing the fancy bowl.

what is up, Umbrella Pals! i have even less of an idea what day of the week it is this week than normal so we're a couple days behind but it's Umbrella Posting time!

this week tho, for the first time, there was not only no new umbrellas to be had, but... Pun didn't even touch a single umbrella?!

i WISH this was in Pun's collection but since it's not, i'm not gonna count it. i am a sucker for anything with black and white checkers tho (i am a ska kid, what can i say) so i had to give it the honorable mention.

i'm not ready for this show to end next week, y'all.

i feel like wakeone trying to be like "oh, no, haha, it's okay, we're still negotiating with Kep1er and their agencies to see what we can do about maybe keeping Kep1er together! lol wdym you're worried about their impending contract ending, there's a new album coming out and everything is FINE" is both their poorly veiled tactic to prevent people from not buying the new album because they're upset about Kep1er ending, and also a very pre-emptive effort to stave off worries about ZeroBaseOne eventually having their contract end in the not too distant future.

i admit to not having watched Girls Planet and only being into like one or two Kep1er songs and not really knowing anything about the members as individuals, but from everything i've seen people saying about them, it sounds like they probably don't want to keep the group going. i hope they all get to do what they want, whether it's to continue on together, debut with other groups, debut solo, shift into other things like acting, or get out of the industry entirely.

but fans are weird, and if they think Kep1er is about to split- like they were originally meant to!! -they might not buy the album in protest if they think wakeone is somehow spoiling things for them. so no matter what is actually happening, wakeone is going to play the "everything is being discussed, more news later!" card until the absolute last possible minute, and string everyone along as far as they can get away with that.

i DID watch Boys Planet and have been following ZB1, and i do think that when it comes time, ZB1 is going to stick together if it's even remotely possible because those boys are all obsessed with each other and living in each other's pockets. i wish it could be with a better company, but we'll see what happens. we have over a year before we need to worry about that at least.

going into manner of death you may think this is a show about an adult man with an adult job (performing autopsies on his childhood friends), but the further you get, the more clear it becomes that this is actually a show about an adult man with way too many adult jobs (he also treats patients in the ER, gets called in for emergency surgery, and juggles several potentially connected murder investigations as an unpaid side gig). no wonder literally every single person around him keeps randomly handing him food, even though we know he's a good cook. with only twenty-four hours in a day, it's a miracle he even finds the time to be weird and domestic with his prime murder suspect and their pet cactus

okay there’s something about the ex-morning that needs to be said - singto has obviously gained weight since shadow or whatever his last show was AND HE LOOKS GREAT!! He looks absolutely FUCKING HOT with his chubby little cheeks and if fans pressure him to lose weight I have a minimum of six knives in my house I’m not afraid to use!!!

no but i think it's hilarious that gmmtv just gives fans what they want. literally. except one thing. oh you think these people should play in a show together?? done. you want this kind of series for these actors? done. you want us to stop making series about engineering students? NEVER.

you know, he picked it up a few episodes ago-

-but i haven't counted it as a new one since we haven't seen it opened up yet in the current timeline. i also thought from the colours that it was the one from the flashback to when he met Yoh as a child, and now that i'm double checking i'm even more sure. you can see the dark blue flower pattern on both, and the light pick and yellow colours as well. the shiny gold handle also matches!

so good eye! but yeah we counted this one already 💖☂️💖
