I still think the most devastating enshittification I've ever seen has been picrew. One of the few dress-up game websites left that's not flash-based and it's become DRENCHED in ads. You can't open the home screen without being blasted by at least three or four ads. You can't open two picrews in a row without watching a video ad first. When you have a picrew open the ads cover up the different options and sometimes even stack on each other so you have to hit like 2 or 3 different x buttons to get it to go away, only for more to appear seconds later. Just so we're all clear on the absolute horror of this guy's early childhood, he was:

So fiercely rejected by his birth mother that she threw him out a window and miles upon miles down into a frigid wasteland of vicious beasts.

Had his eyes covered against his will, and was essentially blinded for no other reason than other people's comfortability.

Disowned by his only sibling because of a difference in parentage.

Left in the "care" of an abusive relative while his father galavanted around the world, forming relationships with strangers rather than his own child.

Blamed for every natural disaster that happened to crop up.

Forcibly isolated.

Tried to commit suicide at the giant equivalent of being between five and eight.

And was beaten up pretty viciously by a pirate he looked up to, and prevented from leaving the shitty situation he was in.

And genuinely thought his father wouldn't care that he was injured.

And to sum up that,

Rejected for his appearance, rejected for his stature, rejected for his strength, rejected for his parentage, rejected for simply existing, and finally rejected for being a kid.
