I'm workshopping a K-Pop Demon Hunters fanfic right now, but need a surname for the baddie, Jinu. I go to the Korean Surname wiki but want an uncommon one for him since he's like 400 years old or so. And the first one I pick that isn't too unique is Wan 완 -> 阮.

I look it up to make sure it isn't something stupid.

It means Lute.

It's the hanja for a Chinese Lute. I'm dead. That makes it an official headcanon for me.

His name is Wan Jinu.
