“Yes you heard correctly. Thank you. Though i had already ask you to stop calling me that.”

And so, Kagari hastily retreated to his room in hopes that he wouldn't feel the need to depart anytime soon. He collapsed onto his bed, the relatively comfy mattress supporting his weight and moulding around his frame with great care. His slender arms and legs messily sprawled out over each corner, and a permanent look of disapproval stained his usual childish expression.

Curse you, Leo.

That had done it. Kagari felt gleeful.

Delight flickered in his eyes. He raised his head and focused on the other male for a brief moment. There was currently an interval occurring in the Enforcer's game, so his character had no chance of dying. A chuckle, a hushed one at that, fled from his lips. Let's see how far the hound could push this person's buttons before he snapped. It was fun, after all.

"Can't you be a bit more specific, Leo-chan? There's plenty of books out there, ya know!" Kagari teased, a child-like tone echoing throughout. "Oi, oi~ Why don'tcha like the name Leo-chan, huh?" A pause. "It's cute~"

This totally wasn't revenge for laughing at that embarrassing photo of him, Kougami and Ginoza earlier. Nope.

Leo’s eye shift tot he other as he seem to have been making a ‘tapping’ noise that seem to have distracted him for a moment. What a strange device the other had in hand. Though so many things here were strange in this city, that Leo didn’t exactly wish to be involved with. At least for the time being. After all, he had his own problems to worry about. Right now his main problem is finishing this book before he would be interrupted by… anyone.

But…

What the hell did this guy call him? ‘Leo-chan?’ That’s not even funny.

“A book. I would have gone to more detail if you would be so thoughtful as to call me Leo. Nothing after that if you will.”

Leo, huh? The Enforcer was certain he could come up with some kind of twist on his name. Something cutesy, maybe. That was always his favourite. Something was telling Kagari that the other wouldn't be a fan of adorable honorifics. The redhead maintained a straight facial expression.

"Likewise." He paused, aggressively tapping the 'X' button on his PSP for a few seconds. Phew! His character had nearly died! Unfortunately, it wouldn't be long before this conversation would, undoubtedly, become awkward and meet the end his character had only just avoided. Kagari figured out one solution to sustain the chat. Hey, books were interesting too.

"Ne, what you readin', Leo-chan~?"

It was a little strange for Leo to begin with a conversation. Normally it was best to ignore whoever was around him. Especially when he was absorbed in the plot that was to unfold in his book. Ah well. It wasn’t difficult to do both at once. However, he may be too focus on his book to say much to the other male close by.

“Just Leo. A pleasure.” No need to give him any details about himself.

drabble: the truth about sibyl

How many times had Kagari witnessed this? How many times had he undergone the experience of watching (often insensitively, but this time, helplessly) another criminal’s fibres of their body expand before exploding into a heap of decaying flesh? The burnt, rotting stench of crimson stained his fair complexion, like a canvas being attacked by new colours of fresh paint. 

He was only allowed once more glance at the true embodiment of Sibyl. The unfair, unjust, bastard of a system that had robbed him of everything he once knew — his childhood.

How pathetic. 

This was it. This was what had seized his freedom. This was what had turned his life inside out, upside down, what had contaminated his mind, what had judged his Psycho-Pass and dragged him kicking, screeching into the white, cushioned walls of the Isolation Facility — where he was left to rot, to waste away, believing some kind of delusional idea that somehow, some-fucking-how he was going to get out of there alive.

It made him sick. Sibyl really was scum — Kagari had always known. But there was nothing he could do. He had no one to inform. No way to escape. This was it.
