Of course, we’ve also been working on the prompts themselves. However, after so many delays, we’re not setting any deadlines anymore. All we’re going to say is that when you least expect it, you’ll find some juicy prompt lists at the new hourlyprompts blog. While you wait, you can browse the past prompts available right here at our Tumblr, create something, and then post your works to our brand new Hourly Prompts Collection at AO3.

Our new house

This is going to be our new house: hourlyprompts

Yes, we're moving to Dreamwidth. For now, there’s no content over there,  except for an intro post. But just give us some time, and we’ll build a nice blog for you.

We plan to compile a few DW resources to help those who aren’t familiar with the site. However, if you don’t want to register at DW, no problem. The idea is to keep the posts visible to everyone, so you shouldn’t really need an account to access our content.

Also, we didn’t forget about our promise to share prompt-related resources with you. If nothing goes wrong, you’ll find some interesting links here later this week. And yes, our list will include several DW communities, but we’ll make sure to link to sites hosted elsewhere as well.

Good news: This is not the end after all

A dear friend gave us some advice and encouragement, and persuaded us not to close this blog (thank you, E! <3). So, what we’ll be doing instead is to move Hourly Writing Prompts to another blogging platform, and modify its structure so that we can keep it alive. This means that you won’t be getting a new prompt every hour, but you’ll still get the equivalent to 24 prompts per day of the year.

As soon as we have a new URL to share, we’ll post it here. And when the new version of the blog is fully ready, we’ll let you know.

Over the next days, we’ll be recommending other prompt-related resources that you may find interesting. Stay tunned! And thank you very, very much for your patience! <3
