Is James Harden a TOP 5 Player in the NBA? Max Kellerman doesn't believe he is.

ESPN's Max Kellerman said James Harden is not a top 5 player in the NBA on First Take today. I'm not sure if I can even think of 5 players that are better than James Harden right now, but Max seems to be basing his opinion on James' shortcomings deep in the playoffs. Yes, Harden has come up short, but so has his teammates. He previously led the league in assists the year prior to winning his first scoring title. Also, you cannot forget about the part of Harden's game that is a bit underrated, his defense. Houston Astros' Alex Bregman is the MVP, not Mike Trout

That's right. Alex Bregman is your MVP ladies and gentlemen, not Mike Trout. If the term MVP still means "Most Valuable Player", then it must be awarded to Alex Bregman. On March 20, 2019, Trout signed a 12-year, $426 million contract with the Angels, the richest contract in the history of North American sports.  Following the April home series against the Texas Rangers, Trout was named AL Player of the Week for the fourth time in his career. On September 9, Trout underwent a cyroablation procedure to address a neuroma in his right foot. On September 15, it was announced that Trout would have another surgery to remove the neuroma, ending his 2019 season. In early January 2019, Bregman had arthroscopic surgery to remove bone chips in his right elbow.  He returned to action in spring training on March 2. In March, Bregman and the Astros agreed to a six-year, $100 million contract extension. The deal covers the 2019 season, the three years he would have been eligible for arbitration, and the first two years he could have been a free agent. It was the second-highest contract in club history. The contract was also the third-largest ever for a player with between two and three years of major league service time. Bregman was named the American League Player of the Month for August 2019. Trout is hitting .291 with 45 homers, 104 RBI, 110 runs, and a 1.083 OPS with 110 walks and 120 strikeouts. Bregman is hitting .295 with 40 homers, 109 RBI, 118 runs, and a 1.009 OPS with a league-leading 112 walks and 81 strikeouts. Alex Bregman is dominating in 2019! Ryan Anderson has agreed to a significantly partially guaranteed deal with the Houston Rockets. He played in Houston through 2016-2018. On July 9, 2016, Anderson signed with the Houston Rockets. He made his debut for the Rockets in their season opener on October 26, recording 14 points and six rebounds in a 120–114 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. On December 1, he scored a season-high 29 points in a 132–127 double overtime win over the Golden State Warriors. On December 23, he set a new season high with 31 points in a 115–109 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. During the 2017 offseason, the Rockets began working to move Anderson's large contract. To clear the way for a trade out of Houston during the 2018 offseason, Anderson agreed to reduce the guarantee on his $21 million salary in 2019–20 to $15.6 million.
