It's Over
37 posts
Formerly a toxic, drama riddled transmed blog. All posts have been deleted, all mods but one are gone. I'm not a transmed anymore and that ideology is so harmful and ridiculous.

Lödwyn and her paladins have been busy in the hinterlands. It's all rumor and speculation, but I don't think they're making your cause any friends.
Rumors of what?

Welcome all!
I'm mod :3, the only mod here. They/them, black, disabled, 25+
This used to be a transmed blog, but this is no longer the case and I've wiped all of those horrendous, shameful, and misinformed old posts. This blog is now a safe, inclusive place for ALL queer inviduals and yes, this includes nonbinary, gender nonconforming, non-dysphoric, and non-op people. I will also be sharing information, good news (like legalizations and blocked bills), actionable posts like petitions and protests, and charities.
Here you can ask questions about the queer community (even ones you may be too afraid to ask in many spaces), share your joys, or whatever else. I would love to prevent other queers from falling down the same pipeline I did, especially as I see the conditions brewing for a rise in that sort of thing. Things are bleak atm, but they don't have to be. Trans joy and unity is a tool against the oppression.

I've become neutral/indifferent to transmed/tucute issues over the years (because tbh there are other problems to worry about and I'm not trans so it's not really my battle to fight). I just noticed this blog is posting again and the memories came back.
I was friends with one of the mods once. Idk where she is now though.
Honestly yeah, I don't blame you at all. I'm really glad you've been able to step out and move on and I hope you're doing well 🫂💖 I no longer engage in transmedicalist discourse or anything of the like either. I'm trans myself though so I just like to focus on the transgender community (and the queer community in general) as a whole rather than silly in-fighting and semantics. Yeah, I've lost touch with all the mods and pretty much everyone I talked to during that time period. Mod OwO posted here a few years ago to say that she moved away from it all, if that's who you're referring to. It doesn't appear her tumblr has been active outside of that for years though.

I know I don't post here often (I am working a game dev job now and am also just perpetually tired lol) but I wanted to reaffirm that now and always I stand with trans people, ALL trans people (yes, this includes non-dysphoric, non-transition, and nonbinary people! ALL trans people) as well as gender non-conforming people, drag performers, and so on. I live in the US and, whether or not you live here, I'm sure you've heard about the dire situations trans people are facing now. This coincides with a global rise in facism and transphobia. There are so few places on this earth where we are accepted and embraced and there has been a greater push than ever to prevent us from getting any foothold. I am considering making a return to posting on this blog to continue to raise awareness, boost charities, offer positivity, and a place for people to share their positive experiences or vent. I feel like I owe a lot to the community after all the harm I committed back when I was a transmed and anti-SJW. These were my most shameful moments and if I can do something to build up trans people and prevent others from falling down the same pipeline I would be thrilled to do so. Much love and adoration to all trans individuals and those that pulled themselves out of the transmed and/or radfem cult 💗

I was one of the people in those circles at the time and was hurt by much of what happen when I called out the writing on the wall with terfs. I would love to be able to talk to mod OwO again and reopen up dialog after all that happen and hopefully put old wounds at ease. If they are open to that I'll send a ask with my account info.
Hi, sorry for responding to this years later, I don't check this blog much anymore. I haven't spoken to Mod OwO in a very long time, but I hope you were able to get in touch with her. I think she still has access to this blog but idk if she's on tumblr anymore or not. But I'll go ahead and post this anyway so maybe she'll see it and you can talk with her if she's still about. Take care 💗

Oh yick, you went intrusionist?
This blog changed a very long time ago, years ago even. We were young, hurting from oppression, and took that out on others in the community to try to build ourselves up. Basically all of us have grown up and moved on and know where the finger really should be pointed now (actual transphobes, especially those in government, lobbyist, and medical positions). Those that didn't grow out if became radfems which is incredibly disappointing but not at all surprising considering how much transmedicalism and TERF ideology intersect. It should also be noted that most of the people originally running this blog weren't trans. There was me (a trans person who even at the time was far more mild on the issue than anyone else on this blog), a cis woman, and a former transman who de-transitioned and became a radfem (idk how the latter person identifies now, but that's how they did at the time), and one other trans person that joined later and basically never posted. We were always incredibly open about this fact from the beginning too. Is this who you were comfortable getting your transmed opinions from while telling so called "transtrenders" to get out of the community and stop speaking for trans people? 🤨 If you don't feel like you're being taken seriously as transgender without stepping on your fellow trans person (yes, nonbinary and non-dysphoric people are trans too, even if their experiences are different) to get there, ask instead why people don't just accept you to begin with and you have to make yourself palatable and fit neatly into cis-digestable boxes and be a model trans in order to have basic rights and not get hate-crimed? This is the fault of transphobes, not other trans people. If you are having a hard time accessing gender affirming care and the waitlists are long, ask why there's so little trans inclusive healthcare and why these lifesaving/life improving treatments are so often locked behind incredibly high price points. Again, this is the fault of transphobes, not other trans people. You don't want cis people policing how you live your life, what you do with your body, how you label yourself and so on because it's not their right or their place. The same should go for others in the community, whether or not they experience dysphoria or present or identify in a way that you personally find palatable. It's not your body, not your life, and it's not your business. I believe I am the last active mod on this account. I live in the US and over the past several years transphobia has become more and more rampant. This year, it's at it worst and lives and basic rights are under attack from every angle. Now more than ever the queer community needs to be united in the face of people who wish to criminalize our existence, both in the US and globally (this is not a US exclusive problem). If you wanna act like a cop and side with facism and police people's rights to self-determined identity and bodily autonomy, you do you but I, for one, will not be aligning myself with transphobes or beating down on others to win points with them. - Mod :3

a lot of popular and vocally transphobic detransitioners are white women, formerly trans men. ive seen this used as rhetoric against trans men, with the implication that because there are so many ex-transmasc detransitioners, there must be something wrong with being a trans man itself; like our existence is less real, more shaky and fragile, like we are just one right wing podcast away from going back to our deadnames and denouncing the "trans myth"
rather, I think the far right amplifies the voices of these women because to them, the ultimate victim of "transgenderism" is someone who can produce white babies. kat blaque pointed that out and yeah it's totally true. not only does it seem disproportionate because the right is less likely to amplify the voice of a non white or formerly transfem detransitioner (because they view them as fundamentally less valuable), but I think trans men are also targeted in a really specific and insidious way that seeks to take advantage of our fears and insecurities and break us down emotionally with fake concern and care.
ive been a target of it from terfs, and it's so emotionally exhausting to be told over and over that you're a woman, you're unsafe around men, you're mutilating yourself. I've heard people say that trans men need to resolve our "terf problem" or that were more likely to become terfs but that doesn't address the fact that we are distinctly targeted to be indoctrinated, emotionally worn down, and broken to be assimilated into, let's just call it what it is, their bigoted and sexist cult.

psst. hey
people who are legal adults who want their tubes tied or top surgery etc etc should be able to do so full stop.
"oh but what if they regret it for the rest of their lives"
okay. so what.
Adults make decisions about our lives, that's what being an adult is. We may decide to get a face tattoo, or quit a promising job, or join the army, or move to another country.
That's practically all we do as adults. We make decisions that effect the rest of our life, and then we live, or sometimes die, accordingly. Maybe i'll spend the rest of my life regretting telling my influential boss he doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground, but, as an adult, that's the kind of life decision i am allowed to make for myself. And after all, it might be the best thing i ever did. It's my life, and i get to do all the fucking around and all the finding out i want to.
surgical transition, or sterilization, or whatever... is exactly the same. If you aren't going to let a legally adult person decide for themself about that stuff, then you can't let them get a tattoo or move to Florida either

You can bend over backwards trying not to be one of “those” cringey queers who wears pride everywhere and goes by arson and has they/it/fluff/pixel/boo pronouns on a catgender pin they wear everywhere and suppress everything “extra” unlikable about your identity and pass as a “normal” cishet and mock everyone who dyes their hair for pride and wears rainbow nail polish and guess what? Conservatives will still want you dead. There is no appeasing them. Stand by your community. Maybe you’ll find that arson (they/it/fluff/pixel/boo) is going to be the best goddamn person to have in your corner when the republicans you’ve given up your life to placate inevitably turn on you and try to sentence you to death because any amount of queer is too damn queer. Maybe you’ll find that we are a community for a reason. We’re all equally degenerate in the eyes in conservatives and equally worthy of joy and life in the eyes of the “weird” queer community you shun.

Anyway, no one is stealing trans resources from us. If there is a finite amount of resources then that is the issue, not the people that are using those limited resources. There needs to be more doctors educated on trans inclusive healthcare. There needs to be more trans inclusive healthcare provided at an accessible price point. There needs to be more doctors, surgeons, and so forth that provide trans inclusive healthcare. We should not have to jump through hoops and break our backs to access care and should be allowed the right to informed consent about our own bodies.  We are not being delegitimized by the way others look, behave, or identify. We are being delegitimized by those in government and within the medical field that continue to uphold outdated, uneducated, and transphobic viewpoints about trans people. We should all have the right to acceptance, equal rights, and safe and accessible medical and mental health care regardless of labels, presentation, and so forth. Infighting within the trans community will not solve these issues. Punching down others who identify differently than you and kissing the asses of transphobes that will not accept you if you don’t bend over backwards to prove you fit into their narrow back is not activism. You should not have to step on others and demean yourself so that you can look like the “good and worthy” type of trans person to make cis people comfortable. You’re pointing the finger in the wrong direction. -Mod :3

Yes, exactly. I will tell you this firsthand tbh^ Many people who used to be involved in these spaces have detransitioned and became TERFs, many others (cis or trans) continue to share the TERF/gender critical ideology and tie it to their trans medicalism.  What started out as a blog primarily run by trans people quickly turned into a TERF circle jerk with even more TERFs supporting it from a transmed discord server run by the main mods of this group. There was a very high radfem/radfem sympathizer population in those spaces. Even at the time when I was so deep in my transmed beliefs I felt uncomfortable which is why I almost never posted on this account back when it was active. I also scrubbed all past posts because they were full of false information, transphobia, TERF rhetoric, etc. and were still getting shared around even years later by transmed accounts.  Even the transmeds who were not TERFs had a whole lot of similar ideologies and made nice with TERFs in the discord servers. On top of that, this ideology was a a major pipeline for a whole bunch of other garbage. There were also nationalists and facists (I’m talking people so deep in genuine anti-Semitic conspiracies, anti-race mixing, Nazi-sympathizing, etc.), people who threw around slurs (racist, homophobic, transphobic, anti-Semitic, etc.) they had no business using, and in one server we had a channel dedicated to shaming people (dysphoric or not) based on how well they “passed”.  I’m actually still in some of those dead servers and used to mod in some of them so I’d be happy to share so people can see what sort of things can develop within transmed echo chambers and that it continues to this day. It was not a small amount of people. The thing that brought all of these people together was our shared transmed views. And we all thought we were good people because. I’m sure a lot of those people still do. To this day people continue to join these dead servers and send a message or two with the same sort of outdated 2017 anti-SJW mentality that so many of these people remain stuck in.  People can believe in whatever they wish. If anyone wants to be a transmed then so be it, your choice, but it’s important to recognize and call out issues within your ideology. You cannot pretend that this is not and has not been a rampant issue and that these people do not exist (because they do, and in no small quantity) or that it can’t happen to you or people like you or people you know.  And full disclosure, I am no longer a transmed and have not been for years. I don’t personally care how people identify or what they do with their bodies and I don’t believe people identifying how they wish delegitimized us or steals resources. There shouldn’t be a resource shortage to begin with and kissing the asses of transphobes while shaming and excluding others so we can look like the “good” trans people to them is not the trans rights activism you think it is. I am also trans myself and have been out as such since before I even entered those spaces. The above reasons are a HUGE part of why I and many others pulled ourselves away from this ideology. -Mod :3

oh my god i can't handle ppl who say this shit like!!! no its not any more than being a tucute is like just tell me directly u don't know what being a transmed or what terfs think. also the blocking me....
most transmeds i know r the most fucking tranny aggressive MEN who love other men ive ever met i think its a lot harder for us to turn into terfs (people who hate men) than it is for someone who is nonbinary fem aligned demigirl people who generally also hate men. like i think ppl forget the like... main thing terfs believe in is radical feminism and not trans exclusion thts jus a side project.
also!!!! basically being trans and afab in any way is a terf pipline because terfs are peices of shit who will try to manipulate you with false friendship when really they only want to guilt you into deteansitioning no matter what ur opinions are 🤪

What do you think of genderfluid people?
I'm not completely sure how to identify (and honestly idk if I'll ever properly take on a label, I'm kinda just existing tbh lol) but genderfluid was one of the ones I thought about for myself a bit (and still use from time to time for convenience when asked on a form or something)
That is to say, no problem with people who identify as genderfluid. No opinion on people who identify as other things. So long as people aren't choosing identities in order to be assholes and shame people (ie. Transmeds and anti-SJWs who haven't left 2016 still reciting versions of the same ancient anr unfunny "I identify as an attack helicopter! Haha, get it guys?") then I honestly don't care what anyone does with their lives or identity.
People can identify however fits them, it's not hurting anyone and anything that gives people joy or comfort and further understanding of themselves in these awful times I'd a good thing!
Be yourself and be well!💗

2016 "truscum vs tucute" discourse would be truscum making cringey extremely transparent "tucute" troll blogs where they say incomprehensible shit like "hiii im 14 non dysphoric agenderdemifluxstargender trans boi who uses obamaself pronouns and i think that dysphoric trans people aren't valid!" tagged with every discourse tag that only truscum used and then other truscum finding it, acting like they think it's genuine, traumadumping at the troll blog, and getting offended and if you pointed out it was a troll to them they'd be like that tony zaret meme "you can't really tell what's satire these days"

Hi! I don't use this blog much as I prefer to stay out of tucute/transmed stuff these days. However, if you were part of the former transmed/anti-SJW circles I was in years ago on discord or tumblr (back when I was "too-easy-being-green") and have pulled yourself out of those toxic ideologies would he interested to hear how you're doing these days!
I think about you all a lot and it warms my heart to see people I used to know who have moved away from these toxic mindsets💖
You can send an ask to this blog (anon is on btw!) or reach out to me at my personal blog @yurissweettooth
Love you all💖🌈
