Is Arabic more difficult to learn than English?

Some things in Arabic are more difficult than English and vice-versa! Like reading in Arabic is easier for pronunciation because Arabic has 28/29 letters but only 28 phonetic sounds. English has 26 letters and 44+ sounds: many letters are written but are silent or pronounced differently! English plurals are extremely easy. You just add s(cars), es(watches), ies(cities), ves(wives/knives/wolves) or have "Irregular nouns like: men, children. In Arabic, it's soooo confusing, yet very Rich! There are actual DICTIONARIES just for Arabic plurals like معجم الجموع! What makes Arabic easier than English in general is the fact that it's very "Systematic", unlike English with a lot of Irregularities. Arabic is super rich in vocabulary and expressive as a language! :)
