Parents -- Clare Edwards & Eli Goldsworthy

Early Life- Emily is the only child of Clare and Eli and she is the perfect combination. She has clare’s heart of gold, and Eli’s sarcastic wit, and she got her high intelligence and love of literature from both of her parents maybe it was always destiny since she was named after Emily Dickinson. Emily was always quiet she kept to herself and kept her circle small she was most of the time found in the library with her nose in a book.Like her mother she vocalized that she had no time for boys and was in school to get an education, but unlike her mother she stuck to those words, in public. In her head there was always one boy that always got her eye and that was Griffin Haak. Emily and him had many classes with him and he was always taping on the table or listening to music in the back of the room. Most of high school Emily just admired him from afar but her senior year they were paired together for their senior project and the last day Emily kissed him not knowing he had a girlfriend and Emily told him she would finish the project on her own and text him the details and they never spoke in person about the incident. 

&&. dirty little secrets- embarrassed by what she did but most of all heart broken. She told her cousin MJ about what happened and somehow she convinced her to go to a party and that night MJ lost what she considered what was the most important thing for her the one thing her mother couldn’t keep. At this party she had some drinks and finally started coming out of her shell and was hanging out with the hockey team she ended up leaving with the captain Jace and she promised herself that nothing would happen but she ended up sleeping with him that night and told herself she would never tell anyone, but he also didn’t want it getting out he didn’t want everyone to know he deflowered the weird smart girl.

martin, mary jane - { &&. cousins by blood friends by choice }.even if Clare and Jake were step-siblings they always raised their kids as cousins and connected like a family. MJ always felt protective of emily especially at Degrassi she knew what people said about her and she would always stand up for her but there was only so much she could do. 

haak, griffin - { &&. it was just a kiss } it was always a hopeless crush that Emily planned on keeping buried until her deathbed, but as she got closer to the boy she couldn’t help herself and impulsively kissed him not knowing about his girlfriend. The boy quickly pulled away and stuttered he had a girlfriend and the two have not spoken since. 

milligan, jace { &&. we all make mistakes } after her embarrassing kiss she went to a party where she had a few too many drinks for the first time in her life. She ended up losing her virginity to him and both agreed to never speak of it.

Early Life- You have always been daddy’s little girl, you live and breathe sports. Mackenzie always would rather be watching a game of Hockey with her dad than going to the mall with her mom. Alli always tried to bond with her only daughter about fashion and makeup but Mackenzie couldn’t care less. Her father got her into field Hockey as a young child when he saw her drive for sports, but Mackenzie didn’t take it too seriously. She always told her father that this is the wimps version of Hockey, but Dallas did not want his only daughter playing mens hockey, he knew she could handle the athletic aspect of the sport, but the social aspect he knew she would be tormented, and didn’t know if she could recover. Finally when she was in grade ten after she begged her father for two years to let her play mens Hockey he agreed to let her try out and if she didn’t make the team then he would never mention it again, but sadly for Dallas Mackenzie skated circles around every guy and she made the team, which like he predicted she was the teams bitch. They made her do everything they didn’t want to do just because she was a girl. 

&&. dirty little secrets- after high school Mackenzie told herself that she was never step foot on skates again, she never wanted to be the girl on the mens team. So she went into personal training and body building. The truth was though it wasn’t all natural MacKenzie started taking steroids to make sure she could win her competitions and that her clients would look up to her wanting a body like hers.

goldsworthy, emily - { &&. we are supposed to be friends }.clare and alli always pushed a friendship on their two daughters, they believed if they were best friends and polar opposites their daughters could be too. They truth was whenever these two girls were pushed in the same room the pressure from their mothers got to them and they never had anything to talk about.

martin, mary jane - { &&. you intrigue me }  the truth was when Mackenzie was at Degrassi she always saw MJ around school but never had the courage to talk to her some may say she had a little crush. MJ was always that cool girl who hung with all the cool guys and they never ran in the same circle if Mackenzie had the chance she would have liked to atleast be friends with the girl if not more. 

milligan, jace { &&. you make my blood boil } they were both on the high school hockey team and with Jace being the captain he made Mackenzie’s life hell. The truth was he did it for two reasons the obvious was a girl was better at hockey than he was and the second was he admired her for being so brave to join the team and he had a crush on her back then.

how is isabella jones & holly j's daughter the same age? if mia and hj were the same age and mia was a teen mom...wouldn't that make hj a teen mom, too? excited to see the other skeletons, though! good luck!

I know I thought about that, I didn't want Izzy to be too much older than everyone else same with Tyson. I originally was going to have Tyson as 26 and Izzy as 29 and everyone else younger. I would like opinions if I should do that or keep them around the same age!

Parents -- Holly J Sinclair & Declan Coyne

Early Life- Perfection that is the word to describe the childhood of Lydia and Landon Coyne. Anything the Coyne twins wanted they got from long weekends in Paris to Limo rides to and from school the Coyne children had it all, but with all that came at a cost and that was high expectations. Her parents would always tell her that success isn’t handed to you and to have this life you have to work for it. Lydia was expected to have straight A’s, become school president and to follow in the  footsteps of her over ambitious mother. Lydia never wanted to be perfect all she wants was to be a kid, she wanted to ride bikes with her friends but instead of mother had her in piano lessons, she wanted to sneak off and just laugh and talk all night but instead she had to be in bed by nine so she could be up by 4 to work out before school. Lydia never felt like she had much of a childhood. Like her mother Lydia got a full ride to Yale and her father pushed her to get a business degree.

&&. dirty little secrets- the question that everyone asked is how can Lydia do everything? It seems as though that girl doesn’t sleep well that is the truth she doesn’t she started taking adderall in high school and soon after she realized how much it helped her be perfect like her mother, Lydia knows that is the only way she can be the best, but the truth is no matter how much Lydia does and succeeds in what she does she always feels as though she is not good enough.

powell, tyson - { &&. i’ll always love you }. tyson and lydia were those high school sweethearts that everyone was rooting for, everyone thought that after high school Tyson would follow Lydia to the states, but he never did, but Lydia never asked. They tried the long distance relationship but after her freshmen year Lydia decided it was too hard and they called it quits. Lydia will always love Tyson but she has convinced herself it wasn’t meant to be.

jones, isabella - { &&. like mother like daughter }  some family traditions continue on through the generations. Mia and Holly J’s rivalry was passed on to their daughters. In fact Lydia always needed to be the best, and it always seemed to her that everything just came naturally to Izzy where Lydia had to work hard for everything, and everyone liked Izzy better. The truth was Izzy will always be the one person who stood in her way. 

coyne, landon roy { &&. blood is thicker than water } there is always one person Lydia knows she can always count on and that is her twin brother Landon. The two of them have gone through very similar lifestyles, even if there was always more pressure on Lydia, but even if they went down different paths she knows she can count on him.

Early Life- Isabella’s childhood did not start off ideal being the child of a single mom but soon her childhood turned from getting by to  being spoiled after her mother moved her too paris to pursue her modeling career. Isabella only knew the life of the Glitz and the Glam, she was always in the spot light and her mother made sure not only did she have everything she needed she also had everything she wanted. At the age of 12, Izzy ended up moving back to Toronto as her mother received a local job offer. Isabella hated it, Toronto was so boring compared to the life that she once knew, but Isabella tried her best to make the best of it. She was in drama club and also the captain of the cheerleading squad at Degrassi. During her senior year she knew she wanted to pursue acting and her mother would fly her out every weekend for auditions in LA, weeks before graduating she got a job offer and ended up finishing out her year at Degrassi remotely from California.

&&. dirty little secrets- the name Izzy Jones turns heads around the streets of Toronto, from her box office hits to her popular teen drama show on the CW. Izzy found a way to be as successful as her mother if not more famous. Izzy promised herself she would never return to Toronto, but after landing the lead role in a movie being filmed in town she had no other choice, but Izzy knows the risk of returning, she knows why she left,the real reason but no one else does. Right before she left there was a murder investigation going on for the murder of one of her high school teachers, and Izzy knew exactly what happened in fact it was her best friend who did it and she helped hide the body. Izzy knew she couldn’t be around when they were asking questions

To this day she still feels bad about the way she left and hopes that he has found himself in another place.
