Today Roosevelt passed away in the loving arms of our staff and volunteers. We thought we could help him recover from an obviously neglectful past but unfortunately it was too late. Christmas Shelter Pet #3: Pongo Is that one of Santa's Reindeer? Not quite! It's Pongo and he's ready to find his forever home this Holiday season! He arrived to us as a stray so unfortunately not much is known about this sweet boys past. We do know he's a very nice dog who seems to get along well with all the people he meets. Pongo is around 2 years old, so still very young and ready to learn! We aren't sure what kind of dog he is and suspect hes a mixed breed (maybe some Pit Bull, Staffy, Lab or Vizsla in him?). Christmas Shelter Pet #1: Brody Brody is a 3.5 year old mixed breed boy who is most likely a combination of Boxer/Hound/Lab and maybe even something else! Brody is a loving boy who enjoys the company of all adults and older children. Toddlers and babies make him nervous, so he'll do best in a home without them. This #muttcrushmonday let’s give a senior Dog a chance! Constable arrived as a stray so we don’t know much about his past. This Shepherd mix is probably around 8 years old and is still learning and has plenty of love for his people! He’s literally been learning new tricks at PAWsitive Helpers! Constable can meet other dogs before going home and he can be tested with cats. He loves all adults and does great with kids 8-10 years and older.
