On an analysis note; "You said, "We're not together" so now when we kiss I have anger issues." It's giving Jamie getting his girlfriend and telling Z that it's over. But still being inexplicably drawn to him. Then; "Dream of us in a year, maybe we'd have an apartment and you'd show me off to your friends at the pier." Oh it's so very Anaheim/rookie year of them. Them literally living together, and Trev hoping that Jamie would introduce him to his friends as his bf or whatever. Lastly; Both of them are the last-ish line of the song. "I hate that I let this drag on so long." Because that's so Trevor hating that he's still fixated on Jamie even after the trade and Tara and all that. But it's also Jamie lamenting the fact that he's still a little in love with Trevor.

Anyway. I'm done word vomiting now 😁👍

not hockey related at all, but throwback to the time i threw a nokia off of the roof of a building and it did not break, but died when the smallest amount of water got on it.

this could act as a metaphor for so many people tbh. i could make this hockey related after all…

hey! the jersey hanging up in the case is his draft jersey! i (and my lovely friend cass who sat there and listened to all of my versions of “what if i did that?”) thought it would be super cool to have him looking at where he started and truly reflecting on everything that has brought him to where he is now.
