a/n: the grammys was the other night and corey wasn't there so i just kind of imagined what it would be like to just stay in with him for the night instead of going out somewhere

even though you're both kind of expected to go out and party, there are always going to be times where you just want to stay in for the night instead

sometimes it's just an invitation to go out for dinner, but either you or corey will turn it down because you're just not up for it

the first step to having a quiet night in is food

whether that's ordering in or making it yourself is entirely up to how you feel in the moment

corey never used to be a cook but doing it with you warmed him up to it

as long as he doesn't make those bald raw-looking chicken cutlets again you're all golden (seriously those things may have tasted fine and been cooked all the way through but they didn't look right)

having a tv in the bedroom is both the best and worst thing because you can stay under the blankets and watch as much garbage tv as you want, but you'll end up staying there for the entire day

there may be a heated debate about what to watch, that depends on whether or not you want to watch horror movies or some nerdy shit that he likes

if you're not good with horror he may put on the scariest thing he can think of to get you to cuddle into him but it may not work if you're a fan like he is

falling asleep in front of the tv is kind of a given, especially if you're watching in bed

sometimes you wake up in the middle of the night to a dvd menu or the streaming service menu and just go back to sleep instead of watching something else

you don't get nights like these very often since corey has a constantly packed schedule but it's something that you make sure to set aside time for when he's home
