"I went up because of a revelation" #Gal2v2 #VisionIsCritical #RelationshipIsContinual After being stopped on the Damascus road, Paul received a life VISION: "share the gospel to the world" After 14 years of ministry achievement, a REVELATION caused him to abruptly stop. He went to Jerusalem to put himself under the authority of other believers. Paul's vision from God remained subject to continual revelation from God. As a result, he was able to remain in relationship with others - even when he disagreed with them. So as leaders we should ask ourselves, has my vision overtaken my relationship? #hardquestions #UpOutIn #soulcare #bigrocksfirst #sarcasticinspirationalposter https://www.instagram.com/p/CKy7YnuA4bp/?igshid=1pk1hil9ct1et

I know what you would say... words to remember when we hear wisdom that our heart knows to be sourced in darkness.

Master of Breakthrough
The Philistines Defeated Now when the Philistines heard that they had anointed David king over Israel, all the Philistines went up to search for David. And David heard of it and went down to the stronghold. The Philistines also went and deployed themselves in the Valley of Rephaim. So David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will You deliver them into my hand?” And the Lord said to David, “Go up, for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into your hand.” So David went to Baal Perazim, and David defeated them there; and he said, “The Lord has broken through my enemies before me, like a breakthrough of water.” Therefore he called the name of that place Baal Perazim. And they left their images there, and David and his men carried them away. Then the Philistines went up once again and deployed themselves in the Valley of Rephaim. Therefore David inquired of the Lord, and He said, “You shall not go up; circle around behind them, and come upon them in front of the mulberry trees. And it shall be, when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the mulberry trees, then you shall advance quickly. For then the Lord will go out before you to strike the camp of the Philistines.” And David did so, as the Lord commanded him; and he drove back the Philistines from Geba as far as Gezer.

Career Missions
The great hardship of career missions is this: though we may spend our lives studying and embracing the cultures to which we are called we will not find someone within that culture who will do the same in return. In this, missions is a one-way service. Not that it is without reward, but the great cost of missions is leaving the world and culture that knew us to commit to love a people who, though they might accept us, will never sympathetically understand us.
