Celebration Mickey

365/365 #end

Back in the day I used to collect these lil Mickey vinyls that were painted by all kinds of artists and designed with various ear shapes. One of the more common ones was to make the ears a clear plastic instead to change the visual shaping of the character that was painted over the vinyl base.

I am now realizing that was the genesis for this project, especially as I give this last one clear ears to represent the framing of the fireworks as the "ears".

The white skin to this Mickey is to technically break the rule of "no white gloves" without actually breaking the rule- the bracelets break up the body to give off that appearance.

Anyway these asks were so thoughtful I had to fuse the requests together in a way. We are officially 100% done, although I am hoping to do a couple extra things such as a TierMaker list or making a categorized archive of entries.

Survivor Mickey

This is one of the last ones. I included one of the last ones I had in a work in progress state (soda can mickey) in the background, just sort of to hammer home the theme here. Very scrappy lil guy!

Basilisk Mickey

When I think of Basilisk, it evokes the title screen of a strange SNES rom someone found and archived, where you played as a knight in a empty desolate world with only one other person to talk to who is cryptic and covered in a cloak. I think the game devs of that went crazy or something... anyway the basilisk can refer to a large snake but it also can have chicken and other chimeraic qualities, so I wanted to capture that with this mythical 363th Mickey.

Time Mickey

We're running out of time, but this one caught my attention! Some of the basis for this one was kind of influenced by an alchemy mod for a block building game, but in very broad strokes.

Phoenix Mickey

I can't believe we're already at the very tail end here. For this one, I thought a white color scheme with some of the warmer, expected Phoenix colors would be cool, along with an elongated, almost serpentine body would sort of help it stand out. One last border change for the endgame.

Weaponlord Mickey

For some reason the first thing that popped into my head was an animated movie about Camelot and the bad guy using a magic potion to turn people into literal weapons, so this is Mickey if he was fused with a weapon.
