Youtube Review
Youtube is a website where creators can upload any video they want. Creators upload from fashion to gaming, comedy to painting, singing to reviewing toys. My experience with Youtube is a positive one. I have been consuming creators content for years. There are many reasons to use Youtube. Firstly, creators are able to get paid using an ad service. Ads are put in each video, which you can decide to skip most of the time. This helps your favorite creators earn money. Secondly, consumers can also keep in touch with the creators through the comments section. Each video has its own comment section where consumers can post their thoughts and creators can respond. Consumers are also able to share their thoughts on each video by pressing the “like” or “dislike” button. Another reason to use Youtube, you can subscribe for free to your favorite channels. Since creators get paid through ads, subscribing to channels is free. This helps support creators by showing how many people want to see their content. When you have a Youtube account you are also able to see all the videos uploaded from the people you subscribe to in chronological order. Youtube is also able to show you what videos you’ve already watched and keep your place in a video that you stopped watching and come back to.
I love using Youtube because I am able to keep up with my favorite creators and see all the new videos they upload. Youtube allows creators to create what kind of quality they want. Creators are very good at learning from their audience what type of content they should upload, so I would say quality is very high on Youtube.
Youtube has its own twitter account, a phone number (650-253-0000), and a “contact us” page on their site (http://www.youtube.com/t/contact_us). Customer service responds back to creators and listens to the feedback given to them. As Youtube implements new rules, they listen attentively to what creators and consumers have to say about it.
Youtube started a paid subscription service called “Youtube Red.” With this service subscribers will get content made specifically for Youtube Red. Youtube has made movies and shows for this service. Included is ad free content, playing content offline, ad free music app, and downloadable content.
I prefer to use Youtube over traditional tv because of the content I receive. I am able to watch my favorite creators in one spot and see exactly what has been uploaded. Creators are able to receive quick feedback from consumers and can base their next uploads on those comments.
