So it turns out Scarlet has been dead for years, and Queen Ruby doesn’t have any plans to continue what our mother started. So I might as well explain everything.

You may have heard of the “runaway princess” tale in the skywing kingdom. One of Scarlet’s children disappeared one night, no body was ever discovered, eventually declared as presumed dead. I was that princess.

There was this beautiful woman I had met. Cometseer. A nightwing. She was on her way to some mission, but, we were able to talk to each other for a bit. And then every time she passed by we would talk so more. We fell in love with each other. I told one of my brothers, and he told Scarlet.

She was furious. She demanded either I never see Comet again, or she’d kill us both. So that night, when I saw her again. We ran. We ran as far away from our kingdoms as we could. If we went to her kingdom, we’d never be welcome. If we ever returned to mine, we’d be killed.

So we created our own. A land made for refugees like us. Dragons who aren’t welcome anywhere else. When we had our kingdom settled, and everything seemed safe, Comet and I had a kid together. Mulberry, a testament to the acceptance we preach here.

Pride month is around again! My favorite time of year!

LGBTQ or MOGAI (whichever acronym you prefer) people will always be welcome in my kingdom, no matter what.

I myself actually fall onto that spectrum. I’m lesbian myself, and I would consider myself at least partially nonbinary. My wife too, Cometseer, she’s a pansexual trans woman. And our son, Mulberry is gay.

Whoever you are, whatever your identity, you’re valid and deserve to be proud of who you are. At the very least, I’m proud of you for being yourself.

So how did you exactly... become "queen?" Were you royal before? Which Royal Family do you come from?

My lineage isn’t quite important right now. I can’t put myself in danger so easily like that. Anywho, I helped establish the Court of Refugees and so naturally they instituted me as Queen.

Mulberry is a male hybrid prince (probably SkyWing/NightWing) whom is from a portion of The Hybrid Prince Tui read at FanWing Fest! He seemed kind from the reading and his mother is Beryl.
