i think a lot of people forget that humans Are a predator species and hunting isnt necessarily just practical, its rewarding. its not like, a grim necessity. you can (and should) respect the animal and want to avoid inflicting suffering, while still enjoying the process.
and like, a lot of anti-hunting people will presume thats a form of sadism or disrespect for the animal and its like... plant a garden or learn to forage for edible plants and feel how rewarding it is to be connected to your own food. and maybe you will Understand
