When I was 11ish years old and I was getting into books for the first time, my older sister recommended pjo for me since she liked it when she was that age. I was in a real annoying Harry potter phase and I hated greek mythology and expected the books to be some random dude talking to Greek gods and being boring and heroey. I gave it a chance and I got OBSESSED cuz it was anything but boring haha.

I've read the pjo series, all the accompanying short story books and the hoo series. I haven't read toa and tsats but I know the main spoilers so I can navigate the fandom without getting majorly confused . same goes with the other riordanverse series.

ooh this is really basic but percy 🙈 he's the icon legend and moment and I could talk about the complexities of his writing for years and years. unlike most other fantasy middle school American books, he is actually tolerable to read and I find myself rooting for him even when he's in the wrong.

also very basic but percabeth 🥹 I've always been repulsed by romance and "icky icky eww kissing eww" as long as I can remember. But percabeth was the first one where I was like "....maybe I want them to be icky and kiss?" if that makes sense haha. also it ties back into rick Riordan writing which makes you want to root for his characters and want the best for them, and in this case the best for percy and annabeth were each other 🫶

I've done so many quizzes and gotten so many answers i couldnt decide based on my personality, so I decided to go with my interests and that's why I'm a hecate kid!

im not a physically active person haha I CANNOT see myself training for hours a day with a sword or something, so I would just depend on my magic powers hehe

Alright guys I really need your help figuring out my godly parent. I get different answers every time I do a quiz 🥲 here's some deets about me:

I work in health promotion - basically it's early intervention stuff, including health education, raising awareness, advocacy/political activism, and working with affected communities. It's also a lot of mediation between different professions and groups - helping doctors understand why patients can't "just lose weight", helping patients understand why they do need to make healthier choices, and helping politicians... actually there usually isn't any helping politicians, but we try. Currently, I'm in youth mental health

In my free time, I do a lot of arts & crafts. But like - I never stick to one. I've done knitting, sewing, embroidery, metal stamping, jewellery making, digital art, woodwork, music, paper making, book binding, and on and on and on

Honestly that generally goes for all my skills. I've done a lot of things and I *can* do a lot of things, but I don't really do any of them super well

I'm an out-of-the-box thinker, creative and yes, chaotic, and there are lots of pros and cons to that

My happy place is by the beach, but I cannot remember the last time I actually went for a swim. Fuck that, the ocean is scary. I'll stay up here on the grass reading my book under a tree tyvm

I describe myself as a happy person with depression. I'm very sunny and optimistic, but I find life and living and liking myself rough at the best of times. I spend half my life picking myself up, dusting myself off, wiping away my tears and trying again - but I do it, over and over, bc I genuinely do believe it's worth it in the long run. I'm also just ✨emotional✨

I love children, they make me so happy, but I'm not sure if I'll ever be stable enough to have my own

I love animals. Except fish. Fuck fish.

I'm a hugger, but I feel weird asking for hugs

I've been told, even at 23, that I seem older than I am, that I'm "mature for my age" (fuckin hate that saying)

I love being around people, and finding and creating community is super important to me, but being social drains me and I struggle to find a good balance

I put 110% into everything I do. It's a truly awful habit 🙃

I love maths and logic puzzles. I love the structure of it, the planning and strategy, the satisfaction of a black-and-white answer. And yet, I dropped out of my maths degree because I couldn't see myself working in anything but pure maths, which is not really a career. My current job is kind of the exact opposite - yes, it's very research-oriented, but you deal with nuance and unknowns and humans every day, and the reality is that there is never a clear answer. And I love it. No idea what that says about me 😅

Ok now that I've written that out, I'm actually leaning towards Apollo. What do you guys think?

And as much as I love all the "omg he's totally Percy!!", just remember that he's not. They're actors. They're doing a phenomenal job and we're really lucky to have them as a fandom, but... remember that they've signed up for a big job at a very young age. It's our duty as a fandom (especially a fandom with a lot of adults in it) to protect them, make sure that they are being respected, and (APPROPRIATELY) call out inappropriate and/or disrespectful behaviour when we see it. If anyone needs it, I've put some examples below the cut.

"Walker is such an incredible Percy!!!" "Leah does such a great job portraying Annabeth!!!!" "Their dynamic is amazing!!!"

"I don't like the way Walker plays Percy - I always saw him as XYZ." "I don't like Lea as Annabeth. It's just not how I saw her." (borderline. consider why you can't see Annabeth as anything except white. but if you're being polite, I'll give you a grudging pass)

Fully clothed/non-sexual fanart of the actors (in or out of character) (romantic is okay)

Posting/reposting consenting photos, (respectful) edits, etc of the actors in or out of character

Discussing details of their personal lives that the actors have chosen to share with the public (but don't make it weird, ok?)

"Walker and Leah need to date irl, they have so much chemistry!!" uh. no. You're seeing *acting*. Leave their personal lives out of it

"Annabeth being played by a black actor is ridiculous, wokeness is getting out of control" or any variation upon that sentiment. Honestly just fuck off. Also (and yes this is a sub tweet) recolouring fanart that depicts Annabeth as black? Absolutely not. If you absolutely have to, go do your own fucking artwork like a normal human being instead of a racist POS.

Raunchy/suggestive/sexual fanart of the actors (in or out of character). Nope. They are children. Stop it. Don't care if you're "aging them up". Imagine how that feels for them.

Posting/reposting photos where the actors aren't/don't seem to be consenting to the photo

Speculating on or pressuring the actors to reveal ANY DETAILS about their private lives. This includes, but is far from limited to: their contact details/locations, their sexuality, their relationships, their diagnoses, their politics (they're still really young... idk about you guys but my political opinions were hot garbage at 16. they get a (moderate) pass until they're at least 18)

These are obviously non-extensive lists. Please use your brain, and, if in doubt, don't post it.

Also, if you see inappropriate behaviour, please don't be an idiot about it. First course of action should always be politely talking to the person in private. After that, yes, it may be appropriate to start publicly calling them out. Having said that, remember that teens can be dumb (speaking from lived experience...), so let's give them some grace. Ignoring, reporting, blocking, and not engaging is sometimes the best thing you can do for dumbasses, especially if they're attention-seeking.

I love you all and I have complete faith that we, as a fandom, can rally and make sure the cast knows that they are loved and respected.

Solangalo sleep head cannons in no particular order, because I can.

Nico sleeps curled up as small as he possibly can while Will goes full starfish, his dangly limbs taking up most of the room.

Wills feet hang off the bed and he doesn't care.

Unlike Nico who must have all his limbs safely secured on the bed and under a blanket. (He's gotta make sure nothing grabs them, ya know, like a normal person)

Will goes to bed with socks on but always ends up kicking them off, dooming himself to cold feet, his socks forever lost among the blankets.

Nico prefers to sleep in a freezing cold room with multiple blankets on. (He cocoons)

Will always ends up stealing his blankets even though they end up off of him anyway cause of his constant body temperature changes.

Nico has started sleeping in a hoodie (Wills hoodie) cause his blankets keep getting stolen.

If he gets too cold he just snuggles next to his furnace of a flashlight boyfriend to keep him warm.

Will is always up with the sun no matter how late he gets to bed. (Literal definition of "the sky's awake! So I'm awake!")

Nico would spend all day sleeping if Will would let him. (Spoiler alert: he doesn't)

They most often sleep in Nicos cabin cause his bed is fucking huge for some reason. (And they don't have to deal with the annoying siblings who make fun of them while they're trying to snuggle)

Despite Nicos bed being ginormous, they really only have about half of the bed to sleep on since the other half is covered in stuffed animals.

Nico acquires his fluffy army from a variety of places, mostly gifts courtesy of Sally Jackson and his loving boyfriend. Not to mention the ones he gets each time either Jason or Reyna visits camp.

(idk why I like the idea of Nico having stuffed animals so much but I do, let this traumatized boy have a "childish" joy)

Will is a cuddle bug (and a touch starved one at that but that's a topic for another time) and he will cuddle with anything near him while he sleeps, either his boyfriend or one of the many stuffies.

Both Nico and Will can fall asleep literally anywhere if they are tired enough.

i am on my knees asking, BEGGING, for the PJO (tv series) fandom to not ship walker and leah.

first off, they’re both minors. second, they are actual people, they are not actually percy and annabeth.

i’ve been in far too many fandoms where the line between shipping two characters and shipping the actors that play them gets blurred, and it (more often than not) ruins their friendship irl. so PLEASE let these two CHILDREN be separate from their characters.
