I'd argue it's more gothic yuri than anything. Like "holding a rose between my teeth and the thorns prick my gums" type yuri. Like "if you were reduced to nothing but a cleaned skeleton I'd keep a necklace made of your bones" type yuri.

farcille isn't "toxic yuri." nothing remotely toxic about them, they both treat each other with a great deal of care and affection and respect. just because marcille is willing to do forbidden necromancy and arguably cannibalism for her wife doesn't make her toxic that's just what you do for a woman with broad shoulders

I've done some but because that's quite a depressing future for him/ version of Mikey, a lot of these are quite sad too so just a warning for that!

Visits Shinichiro's, Baji's, Izana's and Emma's graves every anniversary of their deaths as well as their birthday's.

He forgets things a lot and doesn't pay attention often, it's like he's lost in his own thoughts

Occasionally glimmers of the old Mikey comes through but they never last long.

He's always scarily calm, even when someone mouths off or is rude to him. It's like nothing bothers him at all, he just lets the executives take care of it, occasionally giving commands. 

He has nightmares and finds it hard to sleep

Refuses to see any doctors

Still has his bike but almost never rides it

Is actually very close to Kakucho, they sometimes feel like the only ones who can understand each other and all their grief. They talk about things Mikey won't tell the others.

He actually doesn't keep an eye on the old toman members or particularly know what they're doing. Instead there are people hired to keep a vague eye on them/ the executives do it. This makes sure they don't try to go after Mikey, this is why no one else has been able to find him. (They messed up a bit with Takemichi because of his time leaping and a sudden change in his behaviour)

Taiyaki and dorayaki are one of the few things that remind him of happier times

Although he's the leader, he isn't as active as he was in toman. Instead Sanzu and the other executives make a lot of the decisions with Mikey just making the big ones.

The first time he used a gun he despised it

He doesn't really want friends or a lover. If he meets someone and he does fall in love with them then he'll attempt to push them away. He doesn't want to end up hurting them. 

The other execs will sometimes buy him new expensive outfits but he never wears them 

Similarly to how Izana saw Shinichiro and Emma, Mikey will sometimes think he can see the ones he's lost. They always look at him sadly, he hates it.

Omg, I love the little actions of the no-name members. It makes the scene feel more alive, and I feel like they're always so slept on. Like, the vibes of each gang are easily picked up by observing the nameless members.

Toman's are always smiling and crying with their leaders, showing the closeness and familiarity. Moebius's starts obnoxious under Osanai before becoming anxious and stiff due to Hanma's sudden appearance. Black Dragon also have that feeling of stiffness, but it feels more out of respect and there's an air of pristine organization. It's most likely due to Taiju's strict, but not necessarily tyrannical rule. Traitors will be punished, and everyone must do their part. Tenjiku is made up of well established older kids, thus their confidence doesn't feel obnoxious. They have experience and trust in their leaders.

I have homework due, but I really want to think about this some more and how to incorporate it into my own writing.

The Boy in the Gang. Keisuke Baji

Day after day, the group sat outside the school gates. It was strange enough that one kid on a bike would sit outside, but now there was a whole group. Dark gang uniforms and bikes revved up while everyone was trying to head home. A teacher was out there by the time you walked out, scolding your smiling boyfriend.

"You cannot loiter and be loud with these bikes. It's not respectful." Your teacher had her hands on her hips. There was no doubt that, if it was a male teacher, Baji would've landed a decent punch by now. Afterall, Baji turned his bike off if it wasn't about to be moving, so there was no need to lecture him about it. "That's nice, teach, but check this out!" Another boy revved his bike loudly, making you giggle as you approached the teacher. "Ignore them. I'll make sure this doesn't happen again." You bowed a little and watched as the teacher walked away. Being an A+ student helped you sometimes.

"Thanks, babe. I was about to lose my cool." Baji held your hand as you jumped on behind him. Immediately, there was another person wrapping a jacket around you, giving you something to cover with since your school skirt wasn't exactly the clothes to ride in. Baji walked the bike a few feet from the curb before starting it, "We have a meeting again. You mind coming along?" The Toman meetings weren't anything you couldn't handle, so you didn't mind going along. Baji always kept you right next to him, arms around your waist or over your shoulders while he paid attention to whatever it was Mikey was saying. Which was fine, you paid attention to the meetings, too. And Chifuyu always showed you pictures of Peke J after everything was done.

"Yeah, I'll go. But remember that we're still going over your math homework later." You felt more than heard the growl from your boyfriend. He wasn't the greatest with scholastics, but at least he had you and his vice-captain to help when things got a little rough.

Baji was always a little reckless when he drove, and it was no different with you as his backpack. He took turns sharply, hit the brakes a little too hard, and wove between the cars and trucks around you both. The rest of his squad was no different, as they all had to keep up with him. You'd learned to hold on tight if you wanted to keep from being too loose during the ride. It was a relief when he finally pulled into the shrine. His group surrounded the bike, backs to you while you got off so that no one would see anything as you stepped off the bike.

"Thank you all." You gave them a light bow before following Baji up the stairs. Mikey and Draken were already there with the other captains and vice-captains, waiting for Baji, who was always late. They greeted you happily, all smiles and kind hellos, while Baji was chided over his late appearance. But this wasn't anything new.

Baji had told you before you agreed to be his girlfriend that this was how it would be. He would have gang responsibilities and some of them he wouldn't be able to shirk off. You understood that, and it wasn't sour when you had to join in the meetings. Everyone was kind to you, and you struggled to understand how other girls thought these boys were bad and evil to their girls. Baji was kind, if anything he hated arguing with you, even raising his voice at you was taboo for him.

"You alright, babe?" Baji whispered in your ear as Mikey discussed a current problem with the others. You craned your neck to look at him and smiled, "Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little bored." Baji nodded, reaching around your waist and pulling you closer, "How about after this we go and get some lunch?"

"Sounds good to me."

TKR Men Taking Care of Their Sick Partner HCs

Characters: Hakkai, Mitsuya, Taiju

Part 2

Mitsuya

As much as he loves you, he will be wearing a mask and maintaining a 3 feet distance at all times. He has little sisters to take care of and a sewing club to run, getting sick is not an option.

He'll sit you on the couch swaddled in blankets with your favorite show/movie playing while he goes and cleans. Mitsuya's the type to clean so well that he'll leave things better than when he arrived.

If you're the type that has a chronic illness or get sick often, he'll make you a few sets of custom of PJs that are so comfortable you feel like you're floating on clouds.

Since he often cooks for his sisters and mom, you bet you're gonna get an easy to eat, nutritious meal that is so good you groggily propose to Mitsuya right then and there.

"I'll think about it. Get better first," he says calmly. Deep inside he's already designing your wedding outfits.

Once you're asleep, cuddling the plushy he made, Mitsuya will gently push your hair out of your face and just bask in your beauty.

"Sorry I can't cuddle with you, baby. I'll make it up to you when you're better, promise."

Hakkai

Even though the both of you have been dating for some time, Hakkai is still nervous when it's just the two of you. So, his visits will usually be with Takemichi or Yuzuha and you guys might play some games or watch some shows if you're up for it. He'll slide you some sweets or takeout you're craving as well.

If he visits by himself, however, that's different.

When he first enters your home, he's flustered. He hasn't been in your room before, especially not with just the two of you alone. But when he sees you passed out on your bed with a flushed face and heavy eyebags, he puts all his nervousness aside.

If you end up waking up a little, Hakkai will bend down beside your bed and caress your face.

"Ho- How ya feeling? Have you eaten yet?" He'll whisper, eyebrows furrowed.

You say no, and he gets straight to work. He lifts you gently from your bed and props you up on the couch. After opening the blinds just enough to let some needed light in without adding to your migraine, he'll unpack the soup he brought.

Let's be honest, no one can top Mitsuya's food, but he tried and that alone made you feel better.

Once you're done eating, he'll let you hold his hand or let you lay on his lap if you ask. Of course, Hakkai's face will be just as red as yours and trembling like a leaf. But, he loves you and you're already his partner, so he'll brave it.

Taiju

My HC for him is that he's a germaphobe, total clean freak. He hardly ever gets sick, but something about snots and boogers grosses him out. Taiju runs a tight ship, a clean ship.

He probably won't visit very often. If you're just sniffling a bit, he'll drop off food and snacks before leaving. Maybe a hug, and definitely no kiss.

If you're having a full on coughing fit and sneezing like your lungs are filled with dust, he isn't coming within 10 feet of you. Taiju will use his long limbs to keep you faaaar away from him.

Taiju is the type to call you and stare at you through a window scolding you for getting sick. You're tired of it, but you know he cares when he sends someone by with a goody bag.

It's usually Yuzuha or the cat and dog duo (Koko and Inui). Most often it contains medicine and food that he forced had someone make. If you're lucky you might even get a card!

"Get Well." It reads. You're unsure if it's heartwarming or a threat. Either way, you're happy.

This is the first installment of my "Sick S/O" HC series! I'll be adding onto it as I watch the anime and read through the manga. I hope to do all the characters and eventually do a girl version, but I don't quite have a grasp on Senju's personality yet and I want to release all the girls in one post.
