I showed my partner, who doesn't know anything about The Arcana, pictures of the M6 and gave a vague description of each character. Here's what they guessed:

Asra: Fully believed that he's the plague doctor because of the brown bag Asra has in the picture that I showed. Doctors need bags for their medical trinkets.

Nadia: The plague doctor's sister who works for the palace. They thought she was underdressed for a countess (I disagree).

Julian: The magician-mentor. Wears all black. Probably got potion in his eye while brewing it.

Portia: The countess, because look at the attitude she has.

Lucio: The count of Vesuvia... I mean who else.

Muriel: Ex-gladiator who lives in a cottage and has a soft spot for animals. It was the broken chains, plus the somber look.

Your point about seeing asra devastated over MC in lucios route is so real. As much as I love this game for its soft and fluffy narrative but it's gotten to the point of being unrealistic.

SPOILER FOR ASRA'S ROUTE: he literally gave them half his heart and Lucio was the cause of the plague the apprentice got so it's not surprising if asra crashed out

I totally agree with the narrative thing. I'm not a particularly angst crazed person, I truly love fluff from the bottom of my heart, but... For example Lucio's route was too mellow for such a character. Redemption wasn't impossible (altho the Coliseum happenings urghhhh), but he could've used everyone and their mother doubling down on him thrice as hard.

Dw about the spoilers, the game is pretty old now and honestly spoilers make me more motivated to actually go for it. Yeah poor Asra😭😭 He truly deserves all of you doting on him. I still don't get one thing, if Asra gave half his heart to bring the Apprentice back to life, didn't the Apprentice also have to do something similar for Lucio? The difference is Lucio wasn't really dead, and the Apprentice was, but he didn't have a body...
