And please the intruder as a compromise it did. He smiled glad that the situation ended up going peacefully. He could not deny tought that seeing the small legendary had made him curious... Perhaps one day he would return to see them again.

The ghost started floating onwards. He understood he was only allowed to go trought while being watched and as such made sure to stay on sight of the sword of ruin.

What to do... The yamask wondered. He had been in dangerous situations before but not one quite like this before. Small or not he was dealing with a legendary... Perhaps now that he gave a offering they would be willing to hear him?

"Uh can you understand me? If so would you allow me to go trought your territory,I presume? You can keep a eye on me. I wish no trouble at all."

He did his best to give a smile. And the small ghost's feathers seemed to be showing signs of him being somewhat scared of the legendary.

The yamask accepted the treats eating them happily before giving a happy "Ya!"

One did not need to understand the Pokemon language to know that was a thanks. He then noticed Cinder looking at him. Nicolas waved a small hello at them since was not sure what to say to the inquisitive talonflame.

The yamask approaches Caben while holding a plate with a few cupcakes and a note on said plate as well.

It reads "Hi Caben! Happy holidays! Sorry for not giving you a gift earlier. I hope you enjoy this food."

He gives a smile while looking at Caben.

While Caben is normally scared of ghost types unless he's gotten to know them Yamasks and Phantumps are the exceptions to that, this is also a Yamask he's familiar with so he's very comfortable around Nicolas. It's a bit sad that he lost the ability to hear the voices of Pokémon but there's nothing that can be done.

"Happy Holidays to you too, Nicolas." Caben happily takes a cupcake from the tray but he also offers the Yamask a few Pokémon treats as well. Cinder the Talonflame looks inquisitively at the Yamask.

Nicolas was surprised at what he was seeing in front of him... Was that one of the ruinous four of Paldea legend? But they didn't seen as mean as the legends said... Carefully he floated closer...

"Hello. I'm Nicolas. You're chien-Pao correct? I have heard about you. But I'm sure some of it was biased against you."

He said. Hopefully that was a good conversation start.

Saber is patrolling his territory. At least what he thought was his; there wasn't really any way of signifying it that the small Chein Pao had done.

An unfamiliar scent! Something or someone is trespassing! Saber quickly followed the scent that had caught his nose. This had to be dealt with immediately!

He may be small and a literal level 1 Pokemon, but that won't stop Saber from doing what he thought was right!

When he finally found the source of this scent, Saber slid to a halt. A hiss came from Saber as he looked around to find where in this vicinity the intruder was in. Needless to say, the presence is not exactly welcome.

He looked at the person asking the question. He didn't recognize the woman in front of him wich meant he must had been thrown quite a bit from the place he was staying while visiting Alola.

The ghost felt awnkard but after a while he decided to awnser the question altought he would not make this person guess what he wanted to say via mimicry. Instead he had a different idea.

He picked a block of notes and a pen from inside the murkrow hat and then started writing on one of the pages. Hopefully the person in front of him would not have a hard time understanding his handwriting.

He hands the note to the woman. The note reads:

"Ah apologies for the entrance! I do have a trainer she is on a hotel at the direction I was thrown from. I do not know if she is nearby however. Don't worry even if she is my trainer she trusts me to wander around by myself (mostly because I'm more her Pokemon out of my relationship with her murkrow then anything else, not that I dislike my trainerb or anything like that) so as long as I get back in a day she won't be worried. Oh but I should introduce myself. I am Nicolas! I'm sorry for causing this whole scene. See I accidentally insulted a dark type and they uh... well threw me all the way here to your place. Quite nice looking place by the way."

The Yamask makes a small bow while taking off the hat while doing it. As if to be polite.

A ghost was flying but not willingly. No he was flying because he was throw. and now he was falling. The fall took a while in the meantime Nicolas was able to think about how much he regretted getting into this situation

finally he hit the ground. And it hurt. Quite a bit in fact.

"Yamask yamask ya..." He then floated above the ground and noticed that close to where he had hit the floor there was someone.

The Alolan café was quiet as usual in the early morning hours. Once again, Lynn had worked an overnight shift. Even going as far as sleeping at one of the tables when she did give herself a small break.

All had seemed peaceful when a sudden clatter, like a that of a metal plate hitting tile, could be heard. And that's what Lynn assumed it was as she went looking through the kitchen to see what could have possibly fallen off one of the shelves. Most likely caused by a certain skitty.

Outside though, the one to first spot the fallen yamask was Matcha. The swoobat had been resting under the awning, her wings folded in on herself like a makeshift burrito sleeping bag. The noise had definitely caught her attention, too as she opened one eye to investigate.

A yawn and quick stretch, Matcha unhooked from her spot, turning right side up in flight. Making a chirping sound at the yamask, she then entered into the cafe to get her trainer's attention.

"Hmm? It seems a bit too early for a customer," Lynn remarked making her way to the front door until she saw the ghost type. In particular one that wasn't native to the region. Then again plenty of tourists from all over were visiting.

"Oh. Well this is something? Is your trainer nearby??"

The yamask looked at Shantal. He was worried for her even if he didn't know what the issue was.

He floated towards Shantal and offered a note to her that readed.

"Is there any way I can help?"

He wondered what was making her act this nervous. But didn't ask. After all asking that would be quite rude.

Shauntal anxiously tapped her pen against her notebook. She gave a vague message to Lucian that she would be unavailable next month and made sure the league was aware she wasn't going to be in Unova come towards the end of the last week of October. But there was still one tiny problem..

She needed a connection to keep herself grounded once Halloween was over. It would be rude if she assumed Lucian could be her tether. She didn't even tell him why she would be unavailable, and she prayed she didn't ever have to. If she did, she had a feeling that she would just scare him away.. and she just couldn't think about the pain her heart would feel if he was scared of her.

"If I can't lean on someone I care about then..who..?"

Anxiety seized her mind. She dropped her pen and held her hands to stop them from shaking, taking deep breaths. One way or another, she would have to talk to him about it. It wasn't like she really had anyone else she could talk to about her situation.

For now, she just needed to take a deep breath and calm herself down. There was at least a month or so for her to prepare herself. Hopefully, things would be settled by then. If not, then she would have to be creative. It was not exactly recommended, but she would do what she had to.

Nicolas seems to think for a while and then finally starts writing. After a moment he finishes writing. He then shows it to the trainer.

"I have quite a few stories. Hmmm... What about I tell you a entertaining one? This adventure is from the time I was traveling with 3 other individuals. The lady who would later on become the love of my not ghostly life, a Priestess of Arceus who was in a pilgrimage, and a knight who others called the Oddish knight because of his fascination for the Pokemon. We four were helping a small village deal with what they said was a mischievous spirit that lived in a nearby cave. When we entered the cave we found out however it was no micievous spirit. But instead that the one causing pranks and mischief around the village was a ... panpour! Well after we discovered the true source of the mischief we had to deal with it in some way. So what we did was restrain the panpour with rope( it was the best idea we had at the moment) and free it far away from the village near a lake. When we returned to get a promissed reward well... here comes the funny part,well I found it funny the other three didn't, the villagers said that since we dealt with a panpour not a spirit we would only get half of the promissed reward! Oh how my Oddish obsessed friend got angry at that. Thankfully the promisse of a banquet as a extra reward calmed him down. Had they not given that extra reward Im quite sure he would have talked all night about that event."

The yamask writes his awnser. He seems to takes a while to write it all down.

Finally when he is done with writing he shows it to Red. It reads

"well i would not mind doing so. I am Nicolas. Like many others yamasks I was once a human. A kalosian man who...did not have the best of parents. I left kalos for new places to see and explore. Had quite a few adventures! Found friends. And love. But one day that all had to end... You see I panicked when I learned about a big responsability was coming in my future and as such I went alone in a dangerous ruin... And well accidents happen and next thing I know I was not Nicolas the living human adventurer anymore but now Nicolas the undead yamask former adventurer."

He seems somewhat hopeful that his awnser will be of satisfaction to Red. If at least for now.

Oh my gosh somebody warn unovan yamask there is a big shadow heading its way!!! He isn't noticing it!!

The yamask is just floating by. He indeed does not notice a shadow going in his direction until it is too late.

When he finally notices it is too late

"YA!?"

Finally when he is done with writing he shows it to Red. It reads

He hugs shauntal hoping it helps her feel better. Ghost hugs may not be warm but they are still hugs after all.

After a while he stops hugging her and asks

"ya?" In a tone to make sure she understands he is asking if she feels better

Just seeing the ghost open his arms made her melt a little. If she didn't have anyone in her life to support her or bring her up from a low point -- at least she had ghosts to make her feel better.

She opens her arms to the ghost, welcoming him into her arms. Shauntal could definitely use a hug. If he was offering, then she would certainly take it.

He gives a shy "ya" and does a small bow with his hat on his hand as greetings

He's haunted, it seemed, by a smaller ghost.

It was a Yamask with a hat- certainly an interesting kind of stranger, nonhostile and just curious.

Red crouched down to greet it, bowing his head back.
