THE HYPNAGOGIC STATE: A GUIDE

SIDE NOTES: ‣ An "anchor" is a means to remind yourself to maintain mental focus and lucidity. Gently attach your awareness to the something and allowing it to act as an "anchor".
‣ You will know when you have entered the hypnagogic state if you feel your awareness slipping from you/dozing off to unconscious sleep and you feel extremely drowsy, foggy, groggy - like you could just barely open your eyelids if you forced it and hard to think or form proper thoughts.
‣ It doesn’t matter whether you actually believe in your assumptions so continue to persist and don’t focus on the doubts.

how many times you shift a day
remembering a memory different from others.
sleeping and dreaming
waking up
every decision you made and acts you made on them
remembering someone or somewhere different from you memory. missing people but only certain version of them, in certain time in past. or when you see a place from your childhood it looks completely different (smaller or less vibrant)
when you are about to find out the outcome/result
illusions. smelling/hearing/seeing something only you notice but other's can't. glitches in reality
everytime you pass through a liminal space (your room's or house's door, crossroads, stairs, elevator, waiting rooms etc.)
déjà vu moments
things you know you threw out or lost appears again
feeling more beautiful or different when you look at mirror. even if it's your hair or something else in your body. noticing small changes. also differences in your home, clothes even cell phone. food tasting different, music sounds different.
that's not even all. add yours.
you shift multiple times daily and you still think you can't control it? let me start a competition to notice and count your shifts in a day

|| why you keep waking up in your cr
i saw a girl make a tiktok about this and i thought it was a really interesting idea so i wanted to share it with you!
i think we can all agree that one of the biggest ideas on shiftblr is that all you need is intention
but i also think a lot of people can agree with me when i say: “if intention is all you need, why do i keep waking up in my cr?”
ill relate it to lucid dreaming.
most people who want to lucid dream use reality checks as a method to do so
you reality check throughout the day so your subconscious remembers while youre dreaming
maybe it doesnt work the first night you go to sleep, but you keep reality checking as part of your routine until your subconscious remembers too.
another girl related it to birth control
she used to have an alarm set everyday for 1pm to take the pill
eventually, she didnt need the alarm anymore, because her subconscious remembered that around that time of day, she needed to take her birth control pill
its the exact same way with shifting
you set intention to shift before you go to sleep, and you wake up in your cr again
“but i set intention! why am i still here?”
you begin to doubt yourself, in your abilities to shift, that maybe intention doesn’t actually work.
but it does.
sometimes it just takes a little longer for your subconscious to remember the intention you set, for the intention to stick.
many people’s shifting success stories happen when they go to sleep like any other night
they don’t intentionally do a method or set the intention of shifting, but they wake up in their dr.
how does that work?
after going to sleep and setting your intention night after night after night, your subconscious starts to do it on its own.
like reality checking during dreams, or setting an alarm to take a pill
your subconscious doesn’t have eyes, it is something that has to be trained, all it knows is what you tell it.
not everything can be mastered on the first try, you just have to keep trying.
moral of the story is:
intention is real. and its important. dont give up on yourself. keep setting intention. keep going to sleep knowing you will wake up in your dr.
one day you will.
i hope this helped or resonated with some of you, because when i heard about this idea, it gave me a lot of hope that im not doing anything wrong, my subconscious is just taking a little while to catch up.

look around. pay close attention to what you are seeing. now, notice what you are hearing, feeling, smelling and tasting. we are being aware of the 3d. and because we are aware of this, we are also conscious. when we're awake, we also often focus on our thoughts by thinking and/or focus on our daydreams by daydreaming. we are being aware of our 4d.
now, notice this when you are sleeping. you aren't aware of anything happening in the 3d, cuz your eyes were closed, and your focus was away from the 3d. when we're sleeping, your mind is quiet and you aren't focusing on anything. not even on the darkness behind your eyelids. we aren't being aware of our 4d.
when you are pure consciousness, you aren't aware of anything happening in the 3d, cuz your focus was away from the 3d. when we're pure consciousness, our mind is active cuz our focus is only on our thoughts cuz we are thinking, or our focus is only on our daydreams cuz we are daydreaming, or whatever our inner voice (the one you're probably using to read this post) is saying. we are being aware of our 4d.
everything is awareness. whatever you place your awareness (focus) on, will manifest the state of consciousness you'll be experiencing.

The truth about the Void-State is starting to sink in
so yea, I've been 'over'consuming loa/shifting/void-state Tumblr a bit, but I feel like, after reading very similar things in many different ways, It's starting to actually sink in.
By that I mean, I don't just know it, I genuinely understand it and its implications. ( I think lol )
I used to see the Void-State just as the 'instant manifestation' state, but It's so much more. It's me. Literally. I am LITERALLY the 'Void-State'. It's me in my purest, unfiltered form. It's my pure consciousness. And it exists unattached to any vessel or reality. It just is.
Now the affirmation 'I am' makes sense to me. I don't know if it's because I am not a native speaker, but I never fully got it. It always felt like there was something missing, like, I am what?
But that's literally it, I am. I exist. And that's what I am.
Not a body, not a human, not a person, not any DNA information. Not even someone from reality XYZ. I just am.
I am naturally omni-everything and eternal. My power is as infinite as infinite gets. The only thing to ever appear to diminish that power is the reality I choose to be aware of and the vessel I choose to experience that reality with. And that's always my choice, and my choice alone.
One question I often ask myself when I see posts like these from people who seem to 'know it all' is. Why. are. you. still. here.
And well, I am still here too. Have I woken up in the Void-State after 21 days of affirming? no, at least not in the 3d, but I won't go on one of these 'only the 4d matters' rants.
Well, why am I so convinced in the Void-State then? Well I was there once, years ago before I had a damn clue about anything. I just dreamed and suddenly my mind was sharply aware and awake, but there was nothing. No sound, no sensations and pure darkness. I wondered if I was dead, genuinely, yet I couldn't panic, I was content. I just existed. (thinking back, having these thoughts while being pure consciousness seems kinda dangerous)
So years later, I still clearly remembered this event vividly until I had a big 'OH' moment when I found out about the 'Void-State', and I finally understand what I felt back then. It was pure freedom and peace of mind.
Let it sink in. Mine and your most natural state is that of pure omnipotence, freedom and peace. Infinitely. Eternally. Literally.
All that keeps us away from that state is our assumption, some people (younger me for example) even still getting in without having a clue it exists. We can even guarantee it by assuming it, which ties back into loa. We are always in control, we really just have to realize and accept it. It's there, it's always been there, you just couldn't see it. Now you can. Take it and don't let anything in this reality stop you. NOW.

if you were waiting for a "shift".... then what were you being aware of? 🤔
DEFINITELY not your body and DEFINITELY not time, right? :D........ WRONGG!!
pure consciousness is a state of consciousness that's induced, not forced. waiting for a shift to the purest state already makes no sense. you're literally waiting for the 3d to "disappear" and for "darkness to engulf you", when the only way for that to occur, is if your awareness is not on the 3d. time included (ofc, unless you assume otherwise ^^).
y'all are too attached to the 3d!
that's a reoccurring problem in the manifesting and pure consciousness community! y'all constantly want movement to happen in the 3d.
y'all wanna feel "symptoms"
y'all continuously check time
y'all worried about the noise in the background
y'all are too worried about the 3d, and that's why you're still in the awake state!
awake state: aware of 3d and 4d
purest state: aware of 4d only
sleep state: aware of neither 3d nor 4d
when you're inducing pure consciousness, your awareness must only be on the 4d. you shouldn't be wondering about the whens, hows, whats, whys, wheres, and ifs.
waiting for a shift will keep you in the awake state. your state of consciousness will not transition into the purest state, if you're constantly worried or focused on the 3d.
