I am a random-assed hand holder.
I will hold your hand even if we're not in a relationship. Even if we're just friends.
Hand holding should not be just for the romantic because it's a really lovely way to show someone you care for them regardless of romantic intention.
I just freaking love holding hands.

Do you ever say no to someone just to see if they'll respect it? You're okay with the thing they asked about, but you've been comfortable with most of what they've asked, so you've constantly been saying "yes" and you haven't really had a chance to see if they'll actually listen to a "no" so you just pick a random hill to test it out.
Is this toxic or really really healthy?

Anyone can have a QPR if they want one. Even if no one in the QPR is ace or aro. QPRs are open to whoever is interested in them.

it feels like a lot of "progressive" online spaces have really latched onto this ooo boykisser pastel stockings kitty femboy image of GNC men and i have to admit i have concerns about how those spaces would respond to GNC men who either can't or simply don't want to look like that

I'm probably gonna get yelled at for saying this but sometimes something isn't a real problem in fandom, you just learned a Japanese word describing a general fandom practice and got scared and decided it meant "The Bad Ones" of that practice

I stole this from Adam Ragusea here but here's my take on it:
Ingredients
I've used both sliced white sandwich bread and homemade crusty bread. Both were good for different reasons.
The last 1/2 to 1/3 of a tub of "Spreadable" vegan butter - about 1/2 to 1/4 cup
Salt
Pepper
Garlic powder
Dried oregano and/or basil
Fresh parsley for garnishing if you're rich and have other things to use it in before it goes bad
Marinara sauce for dipping
If the butter you happen to have is not labeled "spreadable" set it out to soften while you cook the rest of the meal.
Preheat your oven, either by cooking the main course in it, or just on its own. I like to heat it to 500 degrees Fahrenheit, but that's really high. 350 - 400 F is probably fine.
Mix the seasonings into the butter to taste. I think 1/4 tsp per seasoning is probably good, but it depends on how much butter is left in your container and how strong/salty you like it. I DO like to mix inside the butter tub to save on dishes.
Spread a thick layer of the butter onto the bread. It should look like way too much. If you don't use all of the garlic butter, then save it until the next time you make garlic bread.
Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and put in the oven for a minute or two. Keep an eye on it and pull it out once the butter is melted and the edges are crispy and golden.
Place on a cooling rack and garnish with the fancy-pants parsley if that's your thing.
Enjoy as soon as it's cool enough not to burn your mouth!
Lately, I've been wanting to improve my garlic bread recipe. So, I ask of you, my fellow asexuals (and other garlic bread enjoyers): would you share your recipe with me? Please? I need it

This might ruffle some feathers (or we might actually agree), but I think LGBT topics getting forced off of the fandom wiki site is good actually, so long as it results in new information pages being made elsewhere without fandom associations. Especially for aspec labels.
We had AVEN. We didn't need to treat our real-life identities like Hogwarts houses or alignment charts, we could have just made more sites like AVEN, or made a more inclusive site like AVEN.
I'm kinda pissed that the LGBT+ fandom pages went as far as they did-- it gives the impression that our identities are a phase, or a choice, or an interest, or even that the terms being used are being made up by kids, and not terms that have been used since the 80s or even before.
I wouldn't be surprised if pressure from people who agree with me is what drove Fandom to take the pages down. At the very least, I don't think they did it just because they're evil and hate queer people.
There's a serious conversation to be had about how we present information about the queer community to people who are learning about it for the first time. That goes for both queer people and allies. It matters, and using a fandom site to educate about serious topics that people tend not to take seriously is not a great look.
Please for the love of god, if you value whatever media or whatever you're creating a wiki for:
DO NOT USE FANDOM WIKIA
Not just because Fandom wiki is just straight up adware. But because they will happily take all your rights as a wiki owner away and give it to a corporation in the name of profits, like they did to the McDonald's wiki or y'know, completely destroy LGBTQ+ wikis on many identities (including removing nearly every aroacespec labels including demisexual, greyromantic, and many other labels, including many more I used!) all without the permission or consent of the admins of the wiki to "make LGBTQ+ identities easier to understand" and replaced the admins with their own chosen ones, of which iirc were very questionable in their behavior.
"What are alternatives then?"
Fandom Wikia runs off a FREE open-source software known as MediaWiki, it's the same thing Wikipedia, Bulbapedia, and many others use.
This means that you can host your own wiki, or use any other wiki farm such as Miraheze, which is what the wiki I help run uses.
The best part about WikiMedia is that something made on one wiki can be cross-compatible with another. We often use and base our templates off of other wikis, and it makes it somewhat easier to transfer from FANDOM if necessary.
Stop FANDOM's monopoly over wikis, they'll stab you in the back as soon as it's a choice between the user or profits.
