Yes yes I finally played chapter 3 of deltrarune, yes I knew of Tenna before hand, yes he is the reason I decided to get back into deltarune and now it’s living in my head rent free, and yes I ship Spamton and Tenna not only because the whole fandom does but also because I like squishing my two fav characters together and saying “now kiss” sometimes and now I’m building a whole ass headcannon -sighs-

Yes absolutely… even if Griffin hates the idea of being called a parent it’s two against one (until Micah can speak he’s always in Jekyll’s favour no questions about it)

A thought just occurred to me that Griffin, our beloved Invisible Man, would probably be most comfortable in the dark.

Why?

Well firstly:

Griffin lives the world without a body.

He is a ghost to even his own eyes which makes it hard to move about with exact precision in a world without covering head from toe (heck even in the OG HG Wells Novel griffin expresses the frustrations of something as simple as going up stairs while invisble as he’d often misplace his footing)

Griffin wouldn’t take problem with that fact. Sure invisibility makes it harder to physically move about, but that’s something he would be able to get use to.

But something that he would never be able to get use to I think is the surreal experience of touching something and not being able to see that you are touching it despite the rest of your senses telling you that you are.

Secondly:

He can’t properly close his eyes because when he blinks he hasn’t eyelids to cover his eyes.

His eyes constantly feel exposed to light and the elements.

One of the reasons I personally have him with dark spectacles and hats a lot is not just aesthetics but also I like to think he’s giving his eyes a break from light sources.

So mix those two elements together and I think griffin actually takes great comfort in darker environments.

Makes it easy for him to forget his invisble problems when everything is the same solid blackness.

No idea if I’m a moron or a genius but that’s my thought process on it anyways.

In the baby AU I like to think Griffin would absolutely hate having a kid.

For starters; if it were to ever happen it would 100% absolutely be an accidental baby cause Griffin has an ego as big as the universe and cares about other people as much as a regular person cares about mosquitoes

Griffin’s egotism and self centred nature dictates he’s the most important thing in the universe and a child doesn’t fit that picture of him (not to mention the dysphoria and lack of control over his body the process would put him through)

But even a man like Griffin can agree that his child (and only his child cause all other children are annoying) has its moments

And sometimes that makes it worth it when it matters

I caved and made more of the baby AU content

Decided to also make griffin find his cure to invisibility sooner than in cannon because I feel like he would be more motivated to become visible with a child coming around

(Meanwhile in the cannon timeline griffin is half-assing his cure to kind of drag out the process so he can keep his excuse to ‘lay low’ in Jekyll’s basement/lab for as long as he can)

I think it’s important for the people that follow for my griffin and Jekyll/hyde content that I have indeed gone down the rabbit hole of an AU where Jekyll and Griffin have a child.
