What are Eliana’s favorite places in Treasure Town?

She loves watching the waves in/on Sharpedo Bluff, strolling through the town itself, taking walks through the woods around it (and finding soft grassy places or big flat rocks where she can sun), and the beach. Sometimes she’ll go through Beach Cave to find the cove and watch the water in there. She really doesn’t mind hanging out in Spinda’s Café but prefers to remain on the sidelines and observe; she doesn’t always feel chatty. :)

God. Just. Had a brainwave.

What if Dusknoir didn’t want to follow Dialga’s orders? What if he almost doesn’t follow through?

He’s got Grovyle. It’s bad enough now knowing that he’s going to be disposing of Eliana’s original partner. It’s bad enough that they had wounded each other at Crystal Crossing. It’s bad enough that he’s going to have to leave—but to have found out that Eliana is the other person he was hunting? To realize now that the person he cares so much about, with whom he has developed such a significant and meaningful bond, is the very same outlier he had demonized in his mind in order to carry out his plot to rid the world of the risk of his own disappearance? Not good.

He hates himself for it. If he simply had left things alone, hadn’t probed into her affairs, he could have operated on the ignorance of not knowing who the human he pursued was. He wouldn’t have to lie to Dialga about failing to find Grovyle’s human partner.

…Could he get away with lying to the god of time? Should he even try? Or would the inevitable punishment be worth the knowledge that Eliana would at least be able to live out the rest of her days in peace, without knowing the violence that Dusknoir is capable of?
