Me reading men profess love using ornate language in other literature: that's nice
Me reading Thorn saying to Ophelia "I think I'm starting to get used to you":

WHAT DO I DO
I am trying to write this short story for my class and I have come to a rift where I have to decide what kind of relationship the moster has with this girl that they find in a library (year in time still TBA). Why would a leocampus care about a girl in a library
-The girl is special and comes from a special lineage that wronged him
-The girl has some sort of magic within her that only she has
-The girl is a picture of his long lost love
-The girl isn’t special and the creature is just looking for its closest victim
-The girl is connected to someone that he has a feat with
-The girl is the daughter of the people who wronged him
-The girl is one of the people that he himself has wronged in his mistake
-The monster believes that she is also a monster
the monster feels like the person is a reincarnation of a culture that is missing from his sea
-The creature is attracted to the girl
-The girl likes the creature and the creature is using that to take advantage of her in an age-old sacrifice to appease his gods so that he can survive/continue to transform/protect the sea
-The girl and the monster love each other but the girl has forgotten it.
-The girl is the leocampus’s wife
-the girl is the leocampus’s sister
-the girl is the only one prophesied to be able to kill the leocampus
-The girl is the key to releasing the divide between the leocampus and the human world
-The leocampus doesn’t want to be a monster anymore
-The leocampus hates women and for some reason, it doesn’t hate her
THERE ARE LITERALLY A BILLION WAYS THIS CAN GO

Feeling sad this weekend because I am realizing no one in my family will ever love books as much as I do.

Too real
When I walk into the mall and see Christmas decorations up the day after Halloween, I feel the same way Hamlet did when his mom married his annoying uncle so shortly after his father’s death.

Sometimes I do things that are
Uncharacteristic of me
And i do them
So I can make sure
That I am still me
And the me that I am
Still has those unique sets of opinions
And thoughts that I
Bring to the world
