This is not an official tier list and not all characters have been placed in a tier, due to characters being unreleased, but is simply accurate. These characters tiers are not placed based on damage output, attributes, nor presets, but on mechanics (punishes, resets, advantages, strings, frames, zoning, matchups, etc). ———————————————————————-

Tier Introduction:

[Best Tiers]

[ZZ] = The best characters in the game.

[Z] = If these characters are in the right hands, they are basically unstoppable.

[Great Tiers]

[SS] = Just like a Z Tier character but has very minor flaws from being Z Tier, but has an extreme potential to being moved to Z Tier.

[Good Tiers]

[S] = Extremely good characters with way less disadvantages than A Tier characters but not as many advantages as SS and Z Tier characters.

[A] = Above the average character, has more advantages than disadvantages for sure.

[Fair Tiers]

[B] = The average characters, meaning fairly good. They usually have the same amount of advantages as disadvantages.

[Bad Tiers]

[C] = Below average characters, they have more disadvantages than advantages and is usually very punishable.

[Worst Tiers]

[D] = Horrible characters that aren’t taken seriously; they have horrible strings, advantages, etc. Extremely punishable, and at times become punching bags.

[E] = Simplest way of describing it: The worst characters.
